A Constitutional Convention is a wide open affair. Be careful what you wish for. The Articles’ Congress that called the Convention in Philadelphia certainly got more than they expected.

This is NOT a Constitutional Convention. Read the Constitution and try to understand what is going on. Or go look for John Birch’s replacement instead. The Articles Congress in Philadelphia is not the same thing. at. all.

Deo Vindice.

So when they passed the bill of rights... was that a CON-CON too?

When they passed all those other amendments was that a CON-CON too?

IN THE CONSTITUTION:

There are two steps in the amendment process. Proposals to amend the Constitution must be properly Adopted and Ratified before becoming operative.

A proposed amendment may be adopted and sent to the states for ratification by either:

1. The United States Congress, whenever a two-thirds majority in both the Senate and the House of Representatives deem it necessary; or,

2. A national convention, called by Congress for this purpose, on the application of the legislatures of two-thirds (presently 34) of the states.

AND THEN IN ORDER TO RATIFY (Ratify means to make PART of the constitution for those who live in Rio Linda)

To become part of the Constitution, an adopted amendment must be ratified by either (as determined by Congress):

The legislatures of three-fourths (presently 38) of the states; or,

State ratifying conventions in three-fourths (presently 38) of the states.

...

OMG we gotta protect the Constitution by Ignoring the Constitution!!!

WE MUST IGNORE OPTION 2 for PROPOSING AMENDMENTS! ONLY THE FEDERAL SENATE AND HOUSE ARE SMART ENOUGH TO PROPOSE AMENDMENTS!!!!! /SARC

What do you think their going to do propose a wide array of leftist amendments to destroy the Federal Constitution and every remaining protection there in? The Left have already accomplished that goal by way of the Corrupt Federal Employees in black robes. They have no need or desire for convention when they can tax you for inaction and demand anything they want of our people and their States.

Even the right to keep and bare arms has proven again and again in the past to be something of a legal fiction. The U.S. Constitution under the current Federal employees in black robes is dead. A constitutional convention to correct that problem cant make it any worse than it already is. That is of course assuming we could get any amendment passed 38 states, a process that could easily many take decades.
