Obama Expresses Sympathy for New Greek Government

By ANDREW ACKERMAN Feb. 1, 2015

President Barack Obama expressed sympathy for the new Greek government as it seeks to rollback its strict bailout regime, saying there are limits to how far its European creditors can press Athens to repay its debts while restructuring the economy.

“You cannot keep on squeezing countries that are in the midst of depression. At some point there has to be a growth strategy in order for them to pay off their debts to eliminate some of their deficits,” Mr. Obama said in an interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria aired Sunday.

He said Athens needs to restructure its economy to boost its competitiveness, “but it’s very hard to initiate those changes if people’s standards of livings are dropping by 25%. Over time, eventually the political system, the society can’t sustain it.”

You said it-One wonders when Greece stiffs the EU Ruling class of their “cut” (the ruling class being Limousine Liberals/Progessives on steroids) what will Obama’s response be?

Stick with his “comrade” buddies in the Greek Government or his fellow Progressives in the EU (and allied banker) leaderships?

The Greeks are doomed to become just another satellite country of the Russian Empire (while America watches from afar and leading from behind).

Tribulation times seems to be coming faster than predicted.

Obama is, as always, an idiot. You cannot keep spending other people’s money and expect those people to keep producing wealth. Austerity is the only acceptable government spending philosophy.

“The Greeks are doomed to become just another satellite country of the Russian Empire (while America watches from afar and leading from behind).”

You nailed it. Greece can not survive without a sugar daddy. Tsipras has been long been looking to Putin as an alternative to the EU for money. The problem is, due to the drop in the price of oil, Russia will soon be broke too. That leaves China. But the Chinese are pissed off about the Greek decision to reverse their decision to privatize a couple of ports that China was in the process of updating (and setting up a naval presence in the Mediterranean). Poor Greece. Will it ever learn to walk......

Greece is just five steps further down the road in his Cloward-Piven gameplan.

Straddle the country with crushing debt.

Force the government to adopt drastic austerity measures to start paying it down.

Let that inflame and upset the usual suspects.

End result the election of a government just as radical as Greece has.

Incredibly, Bambi is correct at seeing the problem. But Bambi lives in upsidedownworld and has exactly Zero solutions to accomplish the goal. Because Bambi has not learned a thing since he sat on Frank Marshall Davis' lap. Bambi is not a smart person.
