If Obama vetoes it, I hope both houses override it. Maybe the Dems are catching on.

Need to inflate the balls of 5 more democrats.

Possible alternate titles:
GOP breaks Harry Ried’s filibuster
Harry Ried fails and Fillibuster
Ried gets pipe shoved down throat
Keystone kicks Ried’s keister

What a great country we are, can’t even build a stinking pipe because of the left’s religion.

Expecting a "don't you dare pass it" speech from Obama momentarily.
Maybe the Dems are realizing that Obama's money men don't fill their coffers.

There were a lot of Dem amendments...wonder how many of them made it to the final bill. I didn’t like any of them.

The nine [EIGHT?] Democrats who sides with Republican on the pipeline vote were: Sens. Michael Bennet of Colorado, Tom Carper of Delaware, Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota, Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Jon Tester of Montana and Mark Warner of Virginia.

Far as I can tell the only extraneous amendment is the Portman-Sheehan energy efficiency bill.
Which I don’t approve of but it isn’t a deal-breaker IMO.
It helps develop HW heaters that the utility can turn off whenever they wish. I’d like to see some limit on how much or often they can turn them off- so customers can rely on their HW heaters.

There were a couple of amendments which Obama demanded. I don’t see them in the final bill. One was about exporting. The other was about using only USA steel and USA employees.

Bottom line....Obama will kiss up to the maniacs in Saudi Arabia for access to oil but won't build a pipeline that makes us independent of them.
I'm a tree hugger, but mygosh. Someone should tell the eco-freaks that endless wars to support the Saudi agenda are really bad for the environment.

Lets get it done fast before King Obama and his corrupt organization finds a way to destroy the opposition.
To: Din Maker
Put it on the mthrfkr’s desk and let him veto it.
Boehner, et al have this one session to prove themselves to the rest of us, me in particular.
Otherwise, I’m done.
I’ll simply go to work, ignore the news, politics and make FU money.
Because I really do have better things to do than worry about the enemy within....

Let Obama veto it.
Sing it far and wide that Obama is not interested in jobs for Americans and wants to keep the price of gas high.
Then all those democrat Senators who voted against it will find it more difficult to get elected.
