Why would state legislatures send delegates empowered to cheat . . . and hijack the convention?

The left has totally ignored the current constitution. Let’s get them to obey that first. The problem is less the constitution and more those who would ignore it...... Including the SCOTUS itself. We need to take back the country first. The time for civil dialogue is after the criminal left has been defeated probably after a less than talk and more of an action conflict
