Apple has had SCEPTICS following it around for the last 30 YEARS!
They are like the doomsday crowd. Always telling us to buy gold and drop off the grid. I feel bad for them. They do not appreciate how great we have it today.
This the skeptics will learn spelling? Or do you use Apple speel chek?
(he he — nut you are right, as long as Apple has Hypnotoad they will be around).
I see I have fallen prey to the Internet Rule that says all corrections to grammar or spelling will contain at least one error (hehe)
They obviously came up with two new killer apps this quarter: one that jacks up the dollar by 25% and another one that slashes energy costs by 50%.
Somewhere P.T. Barnum nods knowingly...
Apple’s ideas died with Jobs. But they’re expanding into new markets and should experience a great cash flow for some time. But the company is now where Microsoft was when it seemed invincible.
I have a PC at home, a land line, and a cheap, 5-year-old Trac Phone with minimal features. I get by ok. If others think they need to spend $687 for a smart phone, and $100-200 a month for cell phone usage, that’s their choice.
Sorry, but my Samsung Galaxy does things no iPhone can do. Apple was once a product which had no competition, but that was long ago.
I also hate the way Apple controls how you can do everything. My wife bought an iPad.....no flash was available for it even though most of the web at the time was Flash. They give consumers no choice; it is my device, if I want Flash, and the possibility of the bad things associated with it (and I do) then I should at least be able to flip a switch to turn it on. But Apple does not give consumers that choice.
Likewise, you need to go through iTunes to move files. I hate that. I want to drag and drop just like in Windows.
You couldn’t pay my to buy an Apple product at this time. All the more for the fanboys.
Two more products like the I Watch, and we’ll see how innovative APPL is viewed, and how good an investment it is.
If you want on or off the Mac Ping List, Freepmail me.
I still don’t like their computers, but they make a great phone and the iPad is very good. I gave my iMac and my Macbook Pro to a colleague last week because they just sit there gathering dust. I’m not giving away my iPad or iPhone.
My friend Mike is an Apple fanboi. He gets the latest iPhones and gives me his used ones. I just got my used iPhone 5. Very good phone. I had to buy my own iPad.
More power to Apple. I loved Isaacson’s book about Jobs. But I never have and most likely never will own anything Apple. I hate the obnoxious controlling mentality. I’d rather go back to the stone age if necessary.
Apple people are like a cult....they brook no critique....well my daughters do since I pay for their phones
I own 14 phones.....7 are Cupertino origin
I own 3 high gig pads and 1 mini....all Apple
I owned a pre release to Columbia university McIntosh in 1984.....my girlfriend was a grad student there....we lived nearby
I don’t think their products are the best always
They have flaws.....the store help is great
The company has always talked feel good progressive crap but acted like robber barons.....Bill Gates gets media hammered but Apple is no different
It’s like libs....talk platitudes but act selfish
And going to a store in an urban area is worse than going to Whole foods
Without question the technology loved by lefties
I’m ambivalent in the true definition sense
But treating Apple like it Crimson Tide or LSU is silly
