Just days after the Obama White House accused House Speaker John Boehner of breaking protocol by inviting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address a joint session of Congress, a team of up to five Obama campaign operatives has reportedly arrived in Israel to lead a campaign to defeat the Israeli Prime Minister in upcoming national elections scheduled for March 17.
The anti-Netanyahu, left wing Israeli newspaper Haaretz reports a group called One Voice, reportedly funded by American donors, is paying for the Obama campaign team. That group is reportedly being lead by Obamas 2012 field director Jeremy Bird.
As Jerusalem Post columnist and putative Knesset candidate Caroline Glick reported on her Facebook page, Obama wont meet Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington when he addresses the Joint Houses of Congress in March because of Netanyahus visits proximity to the Israeli elections. Thanks for the links. Obama is pure evil. I hope his “people” over there would be arrested by Israel or, even better, are kidnapped by their “friends” Hamas and held for ransom.
Thanks for the info. Disappointing info - Obama may get his way on this.
The Clinton Administration orchestrated Netanyahu’s defeat in the 1999 elections. Clinton’s boy Ehud Barak only lasted about two years and was replaced by Ariel Sharon.
This is illegal right?
Then again obama does not do anything legal.
This is a page right out of the Clinton playbook from 1996 when Bill sent James Carville to Jerusalem to prop up Barak in his race against Netanyahu.
Interesting how Obama State Dept won’t get involved in elections in corrupt African nations (or Iran) but apparently ok to take sides in fair elections of peaceful allies.
