How amazing it is to know the One Who has always been and Who forever will be. How grateful we are that You are everlasting. Nothing seems to endure forever anymore, except You---Your Name, Your love, Your grace, Your forgiveness, Your mercy, Your truth, Your faithfulness, Your wisdom, Your compassion, Your patience, Your beauty. Father, everything that is good and right, just and true remains forever because You are the eternal God of the universe. How blessed we are to know You, to be loved by You, and to receive Your fullest gift of salvation. Blessed is Your Holy Name.
We bring before You our concerns for our military men and women. Many of them are experiencing instability in their personal and professional lives. Many who have completed their assignments in war-torn countries, now find themselves unable to cope with their lives that will never be the same. Many are unable to accept themselves and are in tremendous need of the God who loves every sinner. Help them, Father. Bring them under the cover of Your grace. Bring light to their darkness and strength to their weaknesses.
Lord, we ask Your blessings upon Israel and the Jewish people everywhere. May they be blessed beyond measure and may Israel rejoice in their Maker. We pray for the support of our nation to be extended to Israel and we ask for Your powerful wisdom for her leaders. We ask You to bless the meeting that will take place in Congress with Israels leader.
Repentance is the only way our nation can escape the judgment that is due us. Father, we cannot sit idly by while marriage is redefined, while babies are killed in the womb, while Your Name is driven out of schools and public events, and while Christians are being persecuted both here and abroad. As a small but mighty band of prayer warriors, we stand in the gap for our nation, asking Your forgiveness for these sins and many more, and seeking Your mercy. Save us from ourselves, Lord God. Help us to hear Your call for repentance, and make every one of us who loves You be a container of Your grace to this fallen world.
You are our hope, Lord God. Save us from this present evil day, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Please join us in prayer.

Joining in prayer for Israel, our beloved America, our troops. May we repent and revival swept and heal our land.
Some years ago my son Brian and I agreed to haul some equipment into an isolated Idaho backcountry ranch for a friend. There are no roads into the area, at least none that my truck could negotiate. So Ralph, the young ranch manager, arranged to meet us at roads end with a small wagon hitched to a pair of mules.
On the way into the ranch, Ralph and I started chatting and I learned that he lived on the property year-round. What do you do in the winter? I asked, knowing that winters in the high country were long and bitter and that the ranch had no electricity or telephone service, only a satellite radio. How do you endure it?
Actually, he drawled, I find it right peaceable.
In the midst of our pressure-filled days, we sometimes crave peace and quiet. There is too much noise in the air; there are too many people around. We want to come aside . . . and rest a while (Mark 6:31). Can we find a place to do this?
Yes, there is such a place. When we take a few moments to reflect on Gods love and mercy and cast our burdens on Him, we will find in that quiet God-filled space the peace that the world has taken away.
INSIGHT
: Jesus is concerned with our physical health. He showed this when He invited the disciples to come away and rest because they did not even have time to eat (Mark 6:31). Rest from work and time to refresh our minds and bodies is important. Jesus is also concerned for our spiritual health and invites all those who are weary and burdened to come to Him for rest (Matt. 11:28).
Amen.
I join in prayer for our heroes and nation!
Thank you Faith for leading us in Prayer today. Amen to the scriptures, Amen to the Praise, Amen to the prayers.
