Yesterday, while in Las Vegas, Governor Palin said "of course" she was interested in running for president in 2016. Naturally, this got quite a response from the mainstream media.
As such, she arrived in Iowa last night and greeted many supporters, fellow commentators, and other perceived hopefuls for the nomination where she was asked to clarify her statement:
As Bob Costas reports:
Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin told The Washington Post in an interview Friday that she is seriously interested in running for the White House in 2016.
You can absolutely say that I am seriously interested, Palin said, when asked to clarify her thinking about a possible presidential bid.
Palin, the GOPs 2008 vice-presidential nominee, said she stood by comments she made Thursday in Las Vegas to ABC News, where she first expressed enthusiasm about potentially competing for the Republican presidential nomination.
I am. As I said yesterday, Im really interested in the opportunity to serve at some point, Palin said Friday, as former Pennsylvania senator
[...]
Palin said, It is a significant step, of course, for anyone to publicly announce that theyre interested. Who wouldnt be interested? Who wouldnt be interested when they have been blessed with opportunities to speak about what is important to this country and for this country?
Still, Palin said that she is not yet ramping up a national political operation. Instead, Palin said, she is contemplating her political future and does not feel rushed to make a final decision.
Palin arrived in Iowa Friday alongside Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), one of her closest political allies, and Jason Recher, one of Palins longtime political advisers. In the lobby, she signed autographs for some hotel guests and mingled with the dozens of GOP figures congregated near the lobby bar, including former House speaker Newt Gingrich.
Again?
I would like to see Governor Palin use her soapbox to announce that she is running for president in 2016. In the absence of an unambiguous announcement, I would like to hear her speak for conservative values and support the most conservative primary candidate with a chance at the nomination, either supporting that person by name or by supporting their positions on the issues.
Palin is quickly accumulating new “likes” on her facebook page.

Exactly
These things must be done....delicately.
First, to get the buzz going, then to effectively and judiciously take countermeasures against the slings and arrows that will be directed at Governor Palin.
And believe me, they are well stocked with what they think is ammunition.
...Im really interested in the opportunity to serve at some point...
...Who wouldnt be interested?"
That cleared things up nicely.
So is she seriously interested in running in 2016, really interested in running at some point in the future or interested in running for President in much the same way I'd be interested in running for President?
Rove says there will be a 20 person land rush for R 2016.
Each debate participant gets 6 minutes.
The money spent on adverts will be huge.
Does Sarah Palin have to pay taxes for getting to live rent-free in the spaciously vacant heads of the fifth-column leftist PDS mediots?
Bob Costas? Really? From there, there are no serious replies.
Commie library bump
The Palin Peep Show is becoming tiresome.
I tend to agree w/ you.
I personally don’t think SP is going to jump into the 2016 race for POTUS. I don’t think if she seriously considered running would she pose w/ a FU sign. SP has had too many awkward moments to be considered a ‘serious’ candidate. IMO.
Same could be said about a lot of the R’s saying they’re considering a run for POTUS. Trump? Puhlease....go away. Jindal? Christie? I would even put Jeb and Mitt in the ‘you can’t be serious’ column. But then I’m not a RINO elite power broker.
I’m thinking she’s just “showing a little ankle,” too.
Good one!
As someone who would love to see her as president, I confess that if she does not run in 2016 I am done with her. I have gotten my hopes up too many times.
Bob Costas?
Please explain.
It’s Robert Costa, not Bob Costas.
Cruz for President!
