I think what he means is “adults” are people who agree with him and everybody else can shut the hell up.

If “adult conversations” means “putting those tea party yahoos like Ted Cruz in their place”, he’s going to find the goings difficult.
“Stay out da Bushes!” - Is that adult enough?

Sounds like Jeb Bush is going to avoid the mainstream media altogether. Interesting ‘strategery’...

The then “underground” media blitz sure worked for the community organizer. In fact, it’s what they do...

Describing the Republicans as “basically Maytag repairmen” because nothing gets done is a very bad analogy. The Maytag repairmen did nothing because the Maytags ran flawlessly with no need for repairs. The government is does not run flawlessly with no need for repairs.
The government is more like repairmen who gum up the works so that they can make more money ‘fixing’ the machine so that it will break down again.

“Bush drew loud and sustained applause when he called for immigration reform that would provide a path to legalized status for undocumented immigrants living in the United States.”
Never. Ever.
“he would offer the country the adult conversations”
How damned arrogant! We need Big Daddy Jeb because we’re a bunch of kids, incapable of knowing where America should go. But Big Daddy Jeb comes from a family born to the Manor. HE will know what to do and how to do it.
Right. Never. Ever!
