OY! ;-)
Can you blame them when they read headlines like this?
My late father, who I only heard swear once (and it was doozy directed at a driver who cut us off) said, "'F.U.' was the phrase saved for the end of the argument."
I don’t blame her. God bless her.
IMO, it’s an issue between her and God. God has obviously given her a strong mother instinct to protect her family. Wish there were more moms and wives like her. A lot of us like to pretend we know what someone else should or shouldn’t be doing. But many times it’s a private matter between that person and the Lord.
I love Sarah Palin, but I’m tired of the Right and FR constantly acting like some politician will “save” us. Politicians will never save us. Politicians will only do the right thing consistently if we the people insist they do the right thing and make it politically profitable for even the wrong guy to do the right thing.
IMO, we’re at the point where the states need to decide for themselves whether they will live free under the rule of law of the Constitution or continue to acquiesce to the feds’ ever increasing breach of the Constitution and increase of tyranny. To me, that is really where we are right now, Palin or no Palin. Resurrecting the Constitution, not getting in “our guy” for awhile, is the only guarantee of our renewed and continued blessed land of freedom.
I’m all for trying to get the right guy in. But I’m against this “trust-in-man” (close to the “rule of man”) mentality. By God’s grace, we need to find a way back up to who we are as a nation: a free constitutional republic. IMO, we’ve come to the place where it’s on the states to do that. I think D.C., the $4 trillion feds, and the hundreds of thousands of federal employees and officials, are past being fixed because they don’t want to, it’s not in their best interests. Growing the Beast is in their best interest. So it’s now up to the states.
Look closer. There's an "F" and another vague letter between "Yeah" and "MM". Her name is the last drop of ink placed on that sheet.
"Why the two crosses (plus signs not typical Christian crosses) in the double-o of Moore?"
The registration marks? LOL I think that's funny. No Christian cross involved here. A registration mark is used in graphics and in printing to line up stuff.
Remember when that woman was shot at a Target a few years ago? Sarah was blamed for it because she had marked an area with a registration mark. The illiterates thought it was a cross hair and blamed her for the shooting.
I'd say the cross hairs symbol has become an "inside" joke in the Palin entourage.
" Now it really does strike me as curious. She really would not be likely to have endorsed the sign in the state shown.""
Why Not?
Everyone is getting their panties in a wad because the letters Fu_k were sighted near Sarah and she endorsed it.
Tell me, what better words could have been used to get the message across fast and clear to a low life like MM and his worshipers? What other word would they understand?
Sarah is very good at choosing her words.
Sarah is not responsible for other people's actions.
Christians should really stop straining at gnats. They focus on one dirty word and ignore the context. They shoot the messenger.
Even Jesus wouldn't stand a chance.
Exactly. I fully admit I make mistakes and sin absolutely! A hypocrite as well. Lord forgive me, I need help! Part of this anonymous internet thing allows me to go off the rails fairly easily.
Now as far as having my personal pic taken with the worst of swear words? Never gonna happen.
“But will you forgive one if they slip up once in awhile?”
I don’t think using cuss words is something that is at a level where it needs to be forgiven. .
I generally overlook it. It is not a trespass against me. It really is hurting the lesson using the language.
It’s like a tattoo on a beautiful woman.
I didn't know there was a worst and best swear words. A swear word is a swear word.
I thought "G*d d*mn" or some such version was the worst of swearings.
BTW, using the word "Never" has a funny way of backfiring.
I think that may be a matter of opinion. I’m not a fool, of course I know that you should “never say never”. But that saying is a human invention too. There are many Biblical instances where people said it or implied it and God had other plans.
Now, I fully commit to you today that if I am ever photographed smiling, right behind a sign similar to that, I will post it here and reveal my identity. Fair enough?
“Maybe after the Freeper Left uses Free Republic to tank her AGAIN, and get a RINO nominated AGAIN someone will do something about it.
I am not hopeful thusfar. History being what it is.”
I don’t think Sarah is electable as President, nor do I think she wants to be President at this point.
I hope Ted Cruz rises up and becomes the nominee. I’m not sure who I like as his VP, but we’ll see. Perhaps a governor from a northerly state.
Once elected, he could select Sarah as, say, Secretary of State. That would work well for me... :-)
That scenario would have a lot of leftist heads exploding... :-)
Well said.
“I have an awful hard time imagining that we will collectively do squat if Barry ever goes full dictator. All those guns? Most owners will surrender them in the face of an APC.”
Yes they will. In the revolutionary war, only 3% or so fought as revolutionaries.
I think in the present circumstances it would be a somewhat higher percentage, say 5% (1 in 20). So it would “only” be 4 million or so people defending the Constitution - presuming 80 million gun owners, which I think might be low.
Also bear in mind that many in the armed services and national guard would be highly sympathetic with the rebels.
I certainly hope that such an entirely hypothetical situation never comes to pass. The bloodshed would be enormous.
Bam-Bam: "Hmmmm ... gotta gets me some o' dat green $!#+ fer Reggie ..."
If you lived today in a country where slavery was legal, you still wouldn't own a slave because you are Christian, correct? Yet in the era of the early 1800s, many upright honorable Christians like yourself owned slaves. Even so, ultimately it was the sheer force of Christianity that ENDED slavery in the Western World. It's not what Christians look like that counts, it's what they DO.
Palin lives in an era, and belongs to a generation within that era, where she RIGHTLY poses with this sign and the ONLY ones who are offended by the sign are at best misguided. If it was a 20th Century blue-haired old lady from the Presbyterian church up the street standing in front of this same sign, I'd say she was demented, but it is a young, in-her-prime attractive woman of the 21st Century who knows full well the contempt that most of America has for Michael Moore.
God bless her. She's a Christian, if a flawed one. But then, the only perfect Christian died on the cross for me and thee.
I don’t belong to the category of people who is offended by a word. Be it clean or dirty or whatever.
Why should I care about your identity?
Why should I care if “F...” is next to you?
How is that going to affect my life? LOL
I just got a good laugh at you saying “never” LOL
Anyway, have a fu.k’in great day!
If this is the worst thing she’s done she’s doing pretty damned good!
You are right, sir. Well said.
I do succumb to the heat of the moment sometimes.
Don’t we all?
I can imagine Christ Jesus in front of a sign like that right now... I’m no prude by any means but really Sarah? Nah.
