LAS VEGAS Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin declined to speculate on a potential 2016 run Thursday at the 2015 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, but she did offer the GOP some free political advice. We caught up with Palin as she was promoting the second season of her show, Amazing America, which airs on the Sportsman Channel Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
Im not going to talk politics except to say the GOP had better go on offense. Man, they are not going to win any game on defense, she told TheBlaze. Being in the majority there in D.C. were blowing it if we just bend our back.
She added, That GOP leadership, that establishment, theyve got to get their stuff together. I love what they believe in, I believe in it too. But theyve got to get tough, man. You know what? Its not just the New England Patriots who are dealing with deflated balls right now.
The discussion then shifted to Amazing America, which she said has received an extremely positive response from American viewers. Next weeks Jan. 29 episode has been dubbed the Ted Nugent Special as she visits the rock stars massive Texas ranch.
The former Alaska governor said the show is really about connecting with the beauty of the outdoors. And shes not letting the outrage mobs that get angry over hunting affect her in the slightest.
Wherever you go in America, there is beauty, there are resources, there are wonderful people out there living life vibrantly and we can all kind of unify around that, being inspired by what the great outdoors has to offer, she said. And our show highlights [that].
While in Vegas for the SHOT Show, Palin said she will also feed the homeless Thursday night with organic and healthy wild game.
When it’s with the knowledge and signature of the parent you are talking about a young woman and a man living together. I don’t approve of living together, I wouldn’t want a 17 year old of mine doing it, but it’s not pedophilia. A 17 year old is no longer a child. They’ve been getting married at that age my entire life.
But, playing Devil's Advocate, I wish that Ted would vocally renounce his past, just get it all done with once and for all. I don't know if he is a Christian but Jesus has a cure for that.
His dark shadow will taint whomever he associates himself IMHO in the public eye.
In today's media savvy world there can be no ambiguity with whom you decide your friends are if you are a politician.
Cult figure? You sure you’re on the Right website? Who’s your guy?
“In today’s media savvy world there can be no ambiguity with whom you decide your friends are if you are a politician.”
I guess that doesn’t apply to our current President
You can apply whatever you want to our current Resident.
Ouch! LOL!
LOL, that stupid hipster pompom cap...par for the course for Brady.
” The RINOs won hands down, it was a rout in those GOP primaries.”
They sure did, and less than 24 hours after the election, they flexed their “bought and paid for” muscles.

Having her on the ticket would scramble their brains but good.
Her plain talk always cuts like a knife.
I LOVE THIS WOMAN!
Well, this is way OT, but it’s 12:40 Sat. a.m., so, what the heck.
Just as a woman does not have to have a 36-24-36 figure to be beautiful, in nature, beauty comes in many forms, and spectacular is one of many. Sometimes — well, often, actually — one has to get off the beaten path, or look a little harder or in a different way to find it...
I-70 through Kansas (and Eastern Colorado, I’d add!!!), doesn’t seem very impressive until you’ve seen a major front or derecho bearing down on you, there, but there’s an awesomeness in that which is almost unmatched anywhere else. The almost “infinite” sensation one gets from the clear air and desolate plain is part of it... And, yes, the area north of Manhattan is interesting in its own way, whether it’s fossil hunting in the rocks as a kid, chasing collard lizards in the rocks or (especially) along the rock fences. (Those suckers - the lizards, I mean - will scamper along a rock fence on their hind legs faster than seems possible!). Or maybe it’s a little hidden meadow in the spring, or watching the range fires march around the hills at night, from one’s bedroom window.
I-70 through the Midwest reveals so little. It misses in Missouri:
Current River
Alley Mill (and spring)
Johnson Shut-ins
and many more.
Or take Illinois - south of Chicago, it’s all flat fields of corn and soybeans, right? But then you’ll miss places like Garden of the Gods, Ferne Clyffe, or Rimrock Trail.
One can find similar surprises in every “un-scenic” state I’ve been to.
Sure, those places I’ve mentioned can’t match the scale of the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, the Rockies, or the mountains’ “wow” factor at seemingly every turn. But scale isn’t the only type of beauty. Sometimes it’s detail, or “coolness”. Sometimes the very seeming “out of placeness” of a spot like G.O.T.G. is part of its charm.
IMO, Gov. Palin knew she was an EXTREMELY long shot. She had little money (the real $$ are in the GOP-e), and there were at the time other fairly strong (or at least then seemingly so) conservative candidates in the race to siphon off some of her support. Plus, the MSM would surely slam her 1st and foremost.
So, I think she figured her only chance was to use her VERY limited resources and try to, one might say, build a wave in a non-conventional manner. When that did not pan out - call it a failure if you wish - there was no sense in jumping into the race. At most she’d weaken other conservative candidates, which it appears at least to me she was trying to avoid. So, she bowed out. But, up until then, she had to give her supporters some encouragement that she might run, or she had no shot at all.
“Plus, the MSM would surely slam her 1st and foremost.”
The MSM would spend their last dollar to crucify her.Palin knows this. She ain’t running. Wait till you see what they do to Cruz if he runs......everything from planting porno in his garbage can to putting 6 ounces of crack in the glove compartment of his car, and then calling the (SEIU affiliated) cops. Plus the GOPe on his arse too!
Politics is their Bible, and they play for keeps.
Oh come on, They were a bunch of losers. Everyone was weak, or a joke.
Its more like if she ran then she'd be just one of a crowd instead of center of attention.
The way she played it she got lots of media attention for a bunch of months, all while she never quit her FNC job appearing on Greta talking about the candidates (which is why it was obvious that she decided early not to run.)
