Most U.S. senators now agree on two things about climate change: That it is driven by humans, and that it is not a hoax.
Getting to that point during a series of votes on amendments for Keystone XL pipeline legislation was tortuous for Democrats and Republicans alike.
"I'm not sure that there were any clear expectations, but I think the way the day transpired was productive but it was also fascinating," Sen. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, told reporters. "We made good progress today and we were pretty pleased there is an emerging bipartisan group of people who believe climate change is real, is caused by humans and is solvable."
Fifty senators, including five Republicans, agreed that climate change was real, human-induced and solvable on Schatz's amendment, though it failed because it needed 60 votes to pass. The Republicans who backed the amendment were Lamar Alexander of Tennessee, Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Mark Kirk of Illinois and Susan Collins of Maine.

The solution is less government, lower taxes, and more liberty for the individual.
Guess that means Demon Rats have to cave.
Like they would know...
Those 98 Senators are correct ... Climate Change is a fact and has always been a fact, since the beginning of the earth. They affirmed that!
What they DID NOT AFFIRM was “Anthropogenic Global Warming” ... which is the hoax.
The article was written by a lousy author and it appears to be PURPOSEFULLY confusing. Here’s the crux of what was done ...
In a surprise move, the Senate voted 98-1 to approve Whitehouses amendment that said climate change was real and not a hoax, largely because it lacked the caveat that humans caused it.
The hoax is that there are some people that are so arrogant to think that they are so powerful that they can change climate. Man cant change climate, Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla., said on the Senate floor.
If that is true, this article is a hoax.
I think the article was purposefully written as a hoax in order to totally confuse people!
Because facts are whatever the Senate says they are.
In this particular case ... they’re right!
...they just all want their own piece of the action...
Imhofe is an ass. If he doesn’t believe it he shouldn’t have voted for it. Or, he should have led a vote to remove the amendment. All these bastards are in it for the money. Except two.
It doesn't matter what the words are, it doesn't matter how it's being reported. The MSM will use this to batter these "servants of the people" over the head saying they "agreed there is climate change". If they had ANY guts they would have demanded the amendment be removed from the bill.
Senator Inhofe believes in exactly what those 98 Senators voted for ... in that Climate Change is real and verified ... which I also agree with (along with a Senator Inhofe). This is something that is proven beyond any doubt and has been true since the beginning of this earth.
What those Senators DID NOT VOTE FOR ... was “Anthropogenic Global Warming” ... and that is the idea which is the hoax, as Senator Inhofe stated on the Senate floor!
What Senator Inhofe is doing is reclaiming the narrative from those who want to try and maintain that “Anthropogenic Global Warming” is true. That’s what I’ve done for several years on Free Republic and continually do with everyone around me. I make those distinctions clear.
Yes.
The “95% of scientists say” is a lie - whether by factual misrepresentation or by omission..
“Warming” has been going on since the Ice Age. Where the warmers try to confuse the debate and fool the public (with great success it seems) is with “HUMAN caused.”
“true” = truth
OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the suns planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?
Those like Senator Inhofe dont intend on controlling the sun ... which is why they said they believe in Climate Change (as I do, too) ... thereby negating the advocacy for Anthropogenic Global Warming ... :-) ...
Reason # 11,437 why I am not a Republican.
I’m 100% behind those 98 Senators and their vote that Climate Change is real!
So we’re down to 5 RINOs in the Senate. Sounds like GOOD NEWS to me.
It is not a hoax, it is a fraud to promote more gummit.
Pray America is waking
