The Hollywood Reporter calls it a “shocker” that a patriotic movie by one of the best directors working today, about an American hero who kills jihadists, is really, really popular. To me, that sounds like a formula for success, but Hollywood still thinks tender stories about gay males coming of age are what the public demands, along with cartoonish special effects-laden, nine-figure-budget mind candy.

Yup - ditto. Clint Eastwood is no dummy, and I plan on seeing this movie of his. But I agree with you —— the majority of voting Americans these days have no right to complain about the state of our country. MOST OF THEM CONTRIBUTED TO THE DOWNFALL, IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.

No one wants to go see a movie that’s been done a dozen times already, with bad acting, whose sole purpose is to gin up racist hate supporting Hillary 2016.

DEMS HAVE BEEN OPENLY, BLATANTLY, AND PROUDLY committing massive, IN_YOUR_FACE. Proven fraud and getting always with it, because, even after proven - it's long after the fact, so just fergettaboutit.
It's things like the contrast between these two movies this week end that tell the real story.
ONLY way we'll even win another election is to vote in MASSIVE numbers - to much for them to cover with fixed machines, lost votes, and last minute 'found' boxes of votes...and people who will finally stand up and so NO MORE - and start prosecuting and jailing the fraudsters... _
