When the Constitution is silent, THE PEOPLE ARE IN CHARGE.The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
Seems pretty clear. The constitution does not mention marriage. Clearly a States Right, or the People.
