“Homeland,” the much-acclaimed television series about American intelligence agents who root out terror threats, is mulling a departure from its ordinary plot, which focuses on Middle Eastern Muslims, and considering — post Charlie Hebdo attacks — a new storyline that does not involve the radical Islamic element.
The show might go with a new type of threat “for creative reasons,” the show’s representatives said, the Daily Mail reported.

It finally got good last season and I watched it and enjoyed it. Sounds like I won’t be watching it next season.

If this keeps up and the SHTF I’m sure homeland security will screw it up. Then it will be up to regular citizens to take care of business. If that happens there will be a lot more shooting than asking questions.

I had to reread this. I thought it was about Homeland Security. I wasn’t aware there was a TV show called Homeland.

It is going to turn into a “nothing” story line.
Some 99% of all the terrorist plots carried out in the WORLD have someone behind them, either planning or funding, who claims affiliation with Islam in some way. Trying to separate stories about terrorism from Islamic elements is like trying to separate white from rice.
It is in the very DNA of Islam that some form of terrorism MUST be practiced to assure the spread of Islam. Kill the men, rape the women, sell the children into slavery, and steal all the horses. Sometimes the actions get mixed around a little with the victims (rape the horses, kill the women, etc., you know), but it is going to be a pretty bad day for a LOT of people.
When a person is captured by these bearded men with burning eyes, the merciful thing is that they die quickly. That mercy is not extended to everybody.
Let me guess - they will make a show about those terrible Nevada ranchers.

The next season of Homeland, they will track down those who make fun of Islam online!!
Homeland should devote the next season to a fraternity gang rape led by a prominent campus republican. That would be a politically correct topic. For added color, they could make the victim a sympathetic pedophile who had previously molested her own sister and felt proud of that event.
