If they go through with this, I am canceling Showtime and I will tell them why.

It finally got good last season and I watched it and enjoyed it. Sounds like I won’t be watching it next season.

If this keeps up and the SHTF I’m sure homeland security will screw it up. Then it will be up to regular citizens to take care of business. If that happens there will be a lot more shooting than asking questions.

Just like after 9/11. The entire country bowed down and begged forgiveness for placing those evil towers in the way of those innocent planes flown by those good, wonderful tolerant people.
The towelheads murder cartoonists, and the liberals all rush to say “Oh, we’re sorry. We won’t portray you as fanatical headchopping murderers. Please forgive us. Please don’t chop our heads off.”

I had to reread this. I thought it was about Homeland Security. I wasn’t aware there was a TV show called Homeland.

Then it will no longer be “Homeland” - and will wither on the vine -
kowtowing to our barbarian enemies

I guess they’re going to focus on the dreaded Amish terror threat. Protect your beards, gentlemen.

Ah, they got the call from someone in the administration.

Let me guess - they will make a show about those terrible Nevada ranchers.
....Why I don’t watch TV.

Homeland should devote the next season to a fraternity gang rape led by a prominent campus republican. That would be a politically correct topic. For added color, they could make the victim a sympathetic pedophile who had previously molested her own sister and felt proud of that event.

Consider that when the Cold War was pretty hot, James Bond and the
Man From Uncle weren't going after Russians or Communists, but rogue millionaires and mad scientists.
Robert Vaughn's sidekick was a Soviet Georgian (played by David McCallum). Not much realism or focus on the real enemy there.
I never saw I Spy, but wouldn't be surprised if Cosby and Culp were hunting down aspiring actresses who wouldn't drink the Kool Aid.
