Around the world, people are talking about Obamas failure to attend the Unity Rally in support of free speech held in Paris, France on Sunday. The rally, attended by 50 world leaders and millions of other people, was planned in response to the killing of 17 people, including 12 at the Charlie Hebdo satirical magazine offices, by Muslim terrorists.
Try as they might, the Obama regime has been unable to keep track of their lies and numerous contradictory explanations about why he was not there. But, even ABCs Jake Tapper is not satisfied with any of the lame excuses.
While reporting about Obamas failure to attend, Tapper shared his personal thoughts about Obamas snub of the rally. Stating that he was ashamed,
Tapper said, I think that it was beyond just optics. When you think back about 9/11 You also have to look at the fact of, who was the first world leader to come to the United States after the trauma in 2001 who was it? The President of France, Jacques Chirac came to Washington D.C. and New York right after 9/11, within a week and a half or so. I dont think thats a mistake. And we have a special relationship with this country.
Looks like Obamas words that he stands with France, like so much of what he says, was simply lip service with no real action to back it. It was a slap in the face considering the fact that the French President was the very first world leader to visit the U.S. after 9/11.
Are these the type of actions, or rather lack of action, that are supposed to make the world love and respect us? To whom in the world was he referring? Did he mean Muslims or those who they refer to as infidels, or non-Muslim believers.
Lets not forget, Obama did say that The future should not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. That statement explains his snub of France and so much more.

Obama stands with the moslems.
I'd like to see a photo or video of Jacques Chirac marching down a street at a rally in Washington or New York City after 9/11. I can guarantee you that it never happened. There's a difference between paying a quiet, subdued visit and showing up at a political rally.
At the very best, the Current Occupant is totally tone-deaf.
At worst, he fully concurs with the actions of the Paris Muslims when they ran amok. What brave heroes he must think the three were.
Chickensh*t is just too kind a word to describe him.
Not in the Commie liberal mind. Remember the Wellstone memorial?
In ‘Audacity of Hope’ Obama actually says that he will stand with the moslems if the world turns against them.
He is, after all, a born and raised moslem himself.
I wonder if that’s the real reason why Obama’s handlers kept him away from Paris. He would have looked like a damn fool over there, I’m sure.
The radicalized muslims are nuts now they have Obama’s quote “The future does not belong to those that slander the prophet of Islam”. Giving them clear guidance to commit acts like those that happened in France, and why isn’t the media pointing this out? Maybe BO should retract his statement.... but why would he, he obviously stands in solidarity with those that committed these terrorist attacks.
The white house is a muzzie no-go zone.
Apparently, Obama didn’t think it was important enough for him to travel to Paris to join his fellow world leaders in a time of crisis. But where does he think it’s important enough for him to travel?
We’ll see the next time he takes a trip abroad. And where will that be? Probably Cuba, where he’ll be seen embracing the Castro Brothers. Or maybe Iran to hug the ayatollahs after signing a treaty with them that will allow Iran to continue building its nuclear bombs.
‘Lets not forget, Obama did say that The future should not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.’
This is it in a nutshell. Not only did Obama say the future wouldn’t belong to the slanderers of ‘the prophet’ - he doesn’t *want* the future to belong to them. Now he feels both vindicated and like a prophet, most likely. He warned them but they wouldn’t listen to The Won. So they got what they had coming.
No way is Obama going to do anything that could be construed as siding with the victims against the perps. The killers did no more than fulfill Obama’s ‘prophesy.’ His sympathy for the dead is nil...or so it certainly appears.
Guess he got into a little snit because they were slandering his pagan prophet. Wonder if anyone missed him or even cared for that matter.
‘Are these the type of actions, or rather lack of action, that are supposed to make the world love and respect us?’
All part of the plan to bring America down.
He could have lead the Rally in DC
Did he send an Ipod?
I think he identifies with the Third World and virulently against former European colonialists. It may be his only deeply held belief. He is not bothered by the recent criticism. It’s a dream come true when he can insult the Brits and the French.
Otherwise, he is an empty suit.
