It's the job of the executive, particularly the State Department, to carry out foreign policy, not the leglislature . It's like saying why doesn't Ted Cruz go negotiate with North Korea. It's not his job to carry out US foreign policy. That's why what the president and the State Department are there for. You just couldn't get up and go to this particular raĺly. Just ask Netanyahu who the French president tried mightily go stop from attending the rally.

This wasn't a "foreign policy" mission where any decisions were going to be made. U.S. Senators and Congressmen travel overseas all the time -- and on the taxpayer's dime, too.

Ted Cruz Goes Abroad

Not only did Ted Cruz take a tour of these nations last year ... he also took it upon himself to criticize the Obama administration in a public address on one of these stops.

Oh, I see ... but he can't travel to a stupid rally in France, right?
