To be fair, similar attacks on Muslim mosques and people occur in India.
Also, while many Hindus and Sikhs fled Pakistan at Partition, with perhaps hundreds of thousands killed, many Muslims fled India, with probably equivalent numbers murdered.
All that said, Muslims have superior legal status in India than Hindus do in Pakistan. When Muslims are mistreated in India, it is at least formally illegal, even when those laws are ignored by local governments.
The history of the conflict between the religions in the subcontinent is a long and sad one. It does not just consist of evil Muslims persecuting peaceful Hindus. Both Hindus and Sikhs have extremist groups that can be quite violent, although this is admittedly a lot less central to those religions than jihad is to Islam.

This was NOT due to any Muslim charity or benevolence, since the murderous and savage beastlike Muslims have none of these characteristics.
