President Barack Obama on Friday will propose making two years of community college free for students.
In a White House video posted Thursday evening, Obama said he wanted to offer “a little preview” of his plans for the Jan. 20 State of the Union address.
“What I’d like to do is to see the first two years of community college free for everybody who’s willing to work for it,” Obama said. “It’s something we can accomplish, and it’s something that will train our workforce so that we can compete with anybody in the world.”
The proposal would make two years of community college free for students with a C+ average who attend school at least half-time and who are making “steady progress” toward their degree.

There is a simple way for his plan to be achieved....admit the one through twelve-grade system of high school is a failure, and allow each state to modify the system.
Kids ought to be given a system where they could test out by the end of the tenth grade and get a certificate (graduation) and then go onto Community College....free....off the savings of the last two years of high school.
Those who fail....stay on in high school for another year or two, and get less free Community College.
The sports crowd will hate this because it’d destroy the whole recruitment angle for colleges and the pro-leagues. But it makes everything affordable. Most people will readily admit....the one-through-twelve gimmick is more of a baby-sitter service than a real education system.

I have said it will happen (free community college), and if it doesn’t, it’s their fault, not mine.
When I read this I had another NO WAY moment. That’s when I read or hear something so bloody ridiculous that I laugh a bit and assume it’s either made up, or it’s so stupid it will never see the light of day.
I remember my first NO WAY moment - it was years ago when I heard that activists were wanting homosexuality to be considered normal, just an alternative lifestyle. I was quite confident that would NEVER be something people would accept. NEVER.
Most things this president says cause me to have a NO WAY moment, but now I realize that this clown is actually going to pull it off. Nobody seems to be able to stop this insanity.
The nimrod speaks contradictions. And the lapdog press and his cult eat it up.
Imagine, just for a moment, Sarah Palin said, "You should get x for free if you work for it."
Imagine.
Mockery, English professors, logicians, even the drooling journalists of network news would be able to see the backasswardness of the phrase.

For “preferred minorities” that has already happened; a college degree indicates an eighth-grade level of knowledge. As a supervisor it is important to distinguish between a regular person’s credentials and those of a “preferred minority”. A short, simple written paragraph in an application usually suffices to separate the wheat from the chaff...

He is just the smiling token, the public face of powerful forces behind the scenes that pull his strings. Everything he does is for those that put him in power; blacks are discouraged because they still live in misery while he champions the causes of Hispanics and homosexuals.
None of the destruction of the last six years are by his own design; we are watching a Bolshevik revolution (mostly bloodless, granted) that is sweeping away the forces of the Old Regime.
So what Princess Barry is saying is that C+ will now be the lowest grade that is possible. No more failing grades!

I believe that he is merely a puppet for some strong and evil forces. His whole presidency makes no sense to me, considering what a great nation America is. I have decided that he is there by appointment to play his part of decimating America, leaving Israel alone, and ushering in the last days. I hate to say it, but it’s the only explanation that makes sense to me.
He is definitely a puppet, and has occasionally let his frustration in that role show (like many affirmative-action beneficiaries, he initially believed he was special - then he ended up in a room surrounded by whites using words he couldn’t understand). The whole “gay marriage” thing wrankled him; after publicly opposing it, his white bosses corrected his attitude and he cheerlessly pushed the party line.
The amnesty thing must hurt as well; blacks are hurt much more by this than whites (who are hurt as well, but to a lesser extent in the short term). I’ve seen whole departments that had been predominantly black in the past morph into primarily Hispanic work areas, without a black worker in sight.
I think you’re wrong. Obama was for gay marriage before he was against it—while it was politically expedient for getting elected. He’s such an ideologue that making illegals citizens to boost Leftist voting and drag down white Americans suits him just fine. I imagine he sees the good that will come from majority Marxist voters will outdo any bad from Hispanic competition for low-skill, black jobs.
He opposed it to get through the general election (to avoid frightening away centrists who are disgusted by perverts), then had to do a 180 later on; it is an unpopular issue in America, especially in Black America, and it exposed him as a simple stooge of the white liberals.

But Obama is in some ways a fake “African-American” anyway. He himself is reportedly on the down low, and he’s a complete Leftist ideologue.
