If 16% of American conservatives supported suicide bombings and other violence against civilian targets, do you think the MSM would characterize that proportion as "minuscule" and fret that other conservatives were being "stained" as a result?
Yet on today's Morning Joe, there was Christopher Dickey, the Daily Beast's foreign editor, describing as "minuscule" the proportion of Muslims in France who support yesterday's kind of violence.
Dickey worried that other Muslims in France will suffer a "stain" as a result. But is the proportion truly "minuscule?" A Pew poll from 2007 found that 16% of Muslims in France support suicide attacks and other violence against civilian targets at least sometimes, including 6% supporting such attacks "often." With about six million Muslims in France, that potentially represents hundreds of thousands of people.

It would not make a difference if the number were actually 1.6% instead of 16%.
The peaceful majority does not matter.
A very small percentage of Germans were Nazis and supported Nazi ideology. A small percentage of Soviets were communists supporting their attempt at world domination. The support people provide the basis from which the attacks are launched. Muslims who “don’t support violence” will not call the police and inform on family and friends who are busy killing Frenchmen.

From what I hear there are approximately 1.6 billion muslims in the world so that number would be closer to 250 million radicals.
Sounds strangely like the 200 million army in Revelation.

And, not all Germans and Japanese were military combatants, either.

That being said, it is unfortunate that Sikhs were attacked because of their headdress. They are actually some very nice people.
