Active shooter at El Paso military hospital per Yahoo.
Apparently an active shooter at the military hospital, per Yahoo
Damn
There are new reports out that there is shooter at a Fort Bliss Va clinic. On Tuesday, KFOR out of Oklahoma City shared that the news was just coming out that there is an active shooter at the El Paso VA Healthcare System in El Paso, Texas. The area is on lock down at this time. They did share that they would be giving out more information as soon as it was available, but nothing else has been released yet.
K Fox TV did share a bit of information about what was going on at this time. The gates have been closed to the area. This clinic is located next to the William Beaumont Army Medical Center. The El Paso police department is on the scene at this time and assisting with the active shooter. They have not shared if anyone has been injured or if there is just one shooter. More information will continue to come out. At this time, it is in the very early stages and is still ongoing.
There is very little information available at this time. This is not the first shooting in Ft. Bliss. Back in 2010, Retired Army Sgt. Steven Kropf went into the base and shot one woman killing her and injured another. After this, he went to his car and sat there where he was killed by police on the scene. The victims were actually taken to the William Beaumont Army Medical Center which is next to where the shooter is at today.
Prayers up.
