Need to find the dirt on Boehner. Other than being a drunk, there is something else out there.
The time for that was long ago. Now, it is time for now-former Republicans to forget about the Republican party, and concentrate on other options. UKIP took England by storm. A similar storm needs to occur here.
While this means abandoning those remaining Republicans who stand in opposition to Boehner/McConnell, it is necessary. Any Republican politician is now an enemy of what this country was founded on, even if they are committed conservatives. They give strength to conservatism's enemies, simply be association, and by lending numbers to the party. They give strength to conservatism's enemies, by maintaining the illusion that conservatism has a voice in the Republican party. And they give strength to conservatism's enemies, by failing to take concrete steps that would actually harm conservatism's primary foe, which is the Republican party itself. They are now officially just-for-show, and the fork in the road is upon them.
If Cruz, Palin, Lee, Sessions, Gohmert, etc. don't show leadership now, and peel away from the Republican party, then they are part of the problem, and need to step aside.

“-—especially the freshmen-—” Take names. We have to kick butt later. Ignore the tag line in this case. Nobody said it would be easy to cure this infection. Every one of these status quo voters has to be confronted back home. We’re gonna need hair grower by the truckload, apparently.

I suspect in the back room, they drew lots to determine who the rebels would be.
Yep. All theater. Anytime Ted Yoho shows up in his clown car you can bet it’s BS being shoveled for the goobers on the GOP plantation.

I thought I read that it was a majority of the house needed, not a majority of those present. Was that incorrect?

somebody wake me when it’s time to send a check to the New Conservative Party. I will stay with Cruz as long as he’s in. After Bush or Romney win the nomination, I will write in Cruz as my vote.
Proud member of the New Conservative Party, making the GOP the next third party.

I am waiting here to see what plan you folks actually bring forward. Harping on what not to do is not a plan. Nor is hurling insults. As if practicing INSANITY by continuing your fealty to the GOP is a "plan".
As to a real plan to preserve what is left of liberty - history is your teacher when tyranny becomes entrenched and erected over a once free people.
Too bad most are too afraid to allow their minds to contemplate what will be required, because most prefer safety and security to liberty.
So, you folks will continue to lie to yourselves, practice insanity and fall for the political kabuki theater every single time.

But sadly, we are become like the Jews in 30s Europe. Travis McGee likes to say, "It feels like I'm in Germany in 1935, and my last name is Goldstein."

I think it’s time to investigate ‘The Grove’.
How the hell on earth are we going to explain to those who deserted the RATS to come over to our side to stop zero what just happened?

I am saying I judge them on their actual actions. You damn right they are tools.
Hannity wanted an amnesty supporter, Levin threatens and runs, both trashed Romney and then caved. Neither ever admitted the mistake.
WHAT have they done to make you trust them? Every one of them says what we want to hear, gets ad dollars and then tells us ‘no matter what! when the rubber hits the road. Will Levin quit the GOP? Will any of them do anything but mewl up to the GOP to keep the guests from the party accessable?

Rebellion ended ONE vote short. Rush predicted last week it would fall one vote short. All theater folks. Rothman voted for Boehner after promising that he wouldn't. Still have people they haven't accounted for. Rush says hard for him to believe the whole thing wasn't designed as a tease.
