Scott Ritter, the former United Nations weapons inspector who was arrested and imprisoned for unlawful contact with a minor, has returned to Bethlehem.
Ritter was paroled from state prison in Pennsylvania in September. A call to his home wasn't returned on Thursday.
A vocal critic of the 2003 invasion of Iraq, Ritter has resumed his trenchant writing on U.S. policy in the Middle East: He has authored at least three online articles for Huffington Post since October, including one warning that the creation of a U.S.-backed "Free Syrian Army" represents a "figment of American creative thinking."

Keep an eye on the neighborhood Burger Kings for a repeat appearance.
So HuffPoo hires known sex offenders and child predators?
Fathers, watch your daughters. Fatboy’s back on the prowl.
Do they hire any other kind?
What a sicko. He will make a repeat appearance at some point.
He’s a left-wing pederast, the kind of guy HuffPo loves to publish.
Nevertheless, he’s pretty much on the money with what he says: ‘the creation of a U.S.-backed “Free Syrian Army” represents a “figment of American creative thinking.”’
Although presumably Obama, Hillary, and Kerry are already aware of this, since those Muslim-lovers habitually side with the enemy.
Another Demcrat pervert.
I’m sure huff post consider it a badge of honor to hire such dregs of society...
“Democrat pervert”
Anymore that’s a redundancy.
Just wondering if a repeat offender predator is akin to being rumored to have spoken at a shadow “neonazi” conference and having to renounce ALL association with said offender.
The truth is more mundane on Ritter’s left turn. Before he joined the dark side he was in high demand as a speaker on Iraq and against Saddam. But as all things come to an end, so did his fifteen minutes. He went from speaking to large crowds in big venues to small groups in unheated church basements. So then he struck on the idea of being against everything America and the anti Bush. How ordinary. It also gave him cover for his trips to the Burger King play with yourselflands. Worked for him for a little while but being libgod of the moment only lasts so long.
Once upon a time, my personal opinion was that any war that toppled a monster like Saddam was not a war I could get upset about.
Now it’s clear that every President after Reagan has been doing the bidding of the jihadists.
I still don’t know what the excuse was for toppling Momar Gaddafi (what was the US interest, not just Obama’s Islamist interest?).
Sec.of State Hillary Clinton proclaimed “WE came, WE saw, HE DIED!” regarding the war crime torture, abuse, and murder of the POW named Momar Gaddafi. We provided aid and we supported the murder.
Who’s been charged with any crime in his death?
Stalinists lie. ALWAYS
They don’t give a damn about torture, murder, or war crimes, let alone worthless wars.
You gotta keep your hands off those guys.
The Ritter episode was strange. For us. Then against us. Then in the clink. Something smelled.
Isn’t this the weapons inspector that could not find Iraq weapons of mass destruction?
I wonder if Biraq Hussein 0bama has a job for this guy at the White House. He would fit right in.
“the creation of a U.S.-backed “Free Syrian Army” represents a “figment of American creative thinking.””
He’s right on that, there is no Free Syrian Army, just various factions of extremist Muslims.
I'm guessing Dean or Vice Chancellor at some university.
Lehigh or Lafayette come to mind.
