A Speaker of the House, Tom Foley, was voted out in 1995 after serving 6 yrs.
Apparently, there were enough honest people in the House to vote against him. Pray!
I just called Rep Michael McCaul-(10th TX) The person answering for his Washington office said that he was undecided. 202 225 2401.
Not if Obama and Pelosi want him to stay, no, they don't.
He was defeated for reelection to the House by the people of his district.
The “right”?
Since when are those who believe in limited (not to mention Constitutional) government the “right”?
“Right” of WHAT?
This is the minimum that has to be achieved tomorrow.
McConnell would have to "co-sign" any deal with Boehner too, he has way overdrawn his credit LOL!
At least this issue has been greatly elevated. And the conservative nation
will be closely watching and taking notes on how their rep votes.
Any true conservative or fake conservative who votes for Bonehead
should expect a primary. And rightfully so.
Sounds like she’s already been won over.
Et tu, Mia?
Every one who voted for him four years ago was an idiot and should never have been re-elected to pull the same stupid stunt again tomorrow. We’ll soon see just how many more idiots we elected.
Just called my conservative representative, Tom McClintock, and message said “office closed” and was “not able to leave a message.” I know he voted for Boehner last time. He’s a conservative but seems to be shy when it comes to shaking it up at leadership level.
YES!!!
It seems to me that there are 2 options -
1 - Current congressmen elect a new leader
2 - We retire him
Send him an email!

She has worked long and hard to get elected. That is certainly commendable but...she’ll pay a price and will quickly learn to play the game to protect her hard won personal gains. As they say in congress, to get along you gotta go along. Washington DC is a corruption machine.
Foley was ousted as speaker because he lost his re-election to Congress. It had nothing to do with the votes in his caucus.
