Last Nov. They CHOSE Bhoner. They CHOSE mitch. And now they haZ a sad? He was good enough then. He promised amnesty then. He had a record of covering for Barry then. He had 3 fundings of Obamacare already then.

Sure I want him gone. but people had the perfect chance to make him gone and elected him thus ensuring what he did since.

“Perhaps the 60% refers to those who only want a few days of torture for the slimeball before we send his ashes into the sun.”

Converting him to ashes would be a waste of carbon credits. Let the sun take care of it. It's greener.

Klavan is way off. His report in that link is way out of date.

For example, the sequester was hard fought for against Boehner’s preference and then late 2013 IT WAS KILLED OFF BY PAUL RYAN, one of Boehner’s favorites.

So Klavan is referencing something that no longer exists and hasn’t existed for more than a year, AND he attributes it to Boehner rather than the Conservative Tea Party caucus that spearheaded it and threatened Boehner if he didn’t bring it to a vote.

Another example,, the deficit has been reduced by Obama using BORROWED FUNDS. It’s a gimmick and Boehner plays right along with it.

Boehner is a guy that grew up cleaning glasses in his Dad’s Bar Tavern. That’s where he belongs, tending bar. He’s way in over his head and that’s why he’s similar to Obama. Both of them are as dumb as rocks but have script writers tell them everything they need to say and do.

A much much better choice for Speaker is Marsha Blackburn. She has the right experience and the right stuff.

I don’t think they polled the question of anyone else. Because they fear the result.

Who needs a House Majority Leader anyway, Obama is running things and no one has the cajones to stop him. Save the extra pay and give it to Obama so he can buy a new set of golf clubs or a membership in that fancy restaurant in Hawaii that he seems to like. Nothing is too good for the King.

The 5 conservatives left should seriously bring that up in a floor speech. Every day.

" if 29 Republicans decide that they will not vote for Boehner to continue as Speaker, he doesn’t get to be Speaker unless he convinces a Democrat to vote for him. "

Go for it JohnBoy, and let the chips fall where they will...

It has been a long time since the GOP leaders listened to their base and acted accordingly. Conservatives have become the blacks of the GOP.

Completely agree. Caddell is the only democrat who comes close to being honest and does things in good faith. Every other democrat lies and acts in bad faith.

60 PERCENT ?
Something's WRONG with that poll!
How can that percentage be so low?
I might believe 85 percent want BoneHead gone.

Lol remember in 2010 the big show they made out of reading the Constitution on the House floor?

The only bright spot for me is I didn’t vote for either my GOP rep or senator in ‘14 as I knew they’re part of the problem. My hands are clean of it. Prepared to vote 3rd party in ‘16 at the top of the ticket as well.

I’m done with them.

Add me to the list. We need an aggressive leader in that position, someone willing to confront Obama and NOT get along with the Dems. Boehner isn’t that guy.

Some of us don’t need to call. Our reps are on the right track, naturally. Mine is Louie Gohmert, lucky me.

Erick Erickson of Red State (who is subbing for Rush today said Boehner is rumored to be four votes away from being dumped.

We need to let our reps hear from us. If four votes can be generated to remove him there is a chance of getting someone strong put in his place. We still have a couple of weeks to be a factor.

The key may be the new members who have to decide if they will be true to their campaign rhetoric, or play it safe in hopes of creating a career path within the establishment.

Today I send the following to my congressman:

Dear Congressman ___, I have been a resident of (the District) since 1965 and actively served in our local government for over 40 years, including holding elected office and serving as Mayor. I understand the importance of elections and maintain a scorecard on those candidates who I have the option of voting for (or not). Sadly my efforts and those of many others in working for Republican Majorities in the Congress has been nullified by the leadership in the House and Senate. I urge you to vote NO for Boehner as Speaker and will score your vote as the determining factor in the next election for Representative of our District from NJ. Again NO TO BENEDICT GRUBER!

The time to get rid of Boner was in the Primary, not the General.

With all the below the surface stirring, it will not be surprising if he is replaced or decides to withdraw from consideration as Speaker.
