Love hearing this news. We stopped shopping at Target when the company leapfrogged last August by filing an amicus brief with SCOTUS endorsing and celebrating the perversion of marriage.
Now, for all the company's liberal hack sucking up....it gets pilloried for being racist.

I read an article about this at the Daily Mail, and virtually all people who commented (who were from UK, etc.) thought the black mother was crazy. Interesting that even the extreme left-wingers who read HuffPo also are pretty much clued in that this is a non-issue. Looks like everyone is fed up with “black rage.”

I am no fan of Target, but I think it is time to tell these stupid progs to go hump themselves. If they had used a black model in the ads they would have been called out for trying to pander to the blacks. They also wouldn’t have sold many of the outfits as the spending power of the blacks isn’t enough to make much profit.
They tried to sell to the whites as that is where the cash is. And the progs still have their panties in a bunch. Just tell them to hump off and don’t apologize at all costs.
Is this like how moslems say if they ever owned a place it’s permanently moslem so if a black person plays a role that role is permanently a role for a black person?

Certainly. As soon as Columbia Pictures, Will Gluck, and Will Smith remove the movie from theaters and apologize to the estate of Harold Gray for casting "Annie" star Quvenzhané Wallis to play a character that was always written as a caucasian redhead.
(And while we're at it, the writers of the original 1977 stage musical that the movie is "based on" should apologize for making FDR into a heroic character when the original comics always despised him and promoted free market capitalism and anti-new deal policies!)

In their ads, and in photos throughout their stores, Target uses black models way out of proportion to their share of the population. Look next time you happen to go to a Target, and you’ll see. They’ve gone out of their way to pander to blacks, but they use a white model this time and they get slammed for it. Serves them right, I say.
