GOHMERT: GOP LEADERSHIP NOT ‘ON BOARD’ WITH DEFUNDING EXEC AMNESTY
Breitbart ^ | 12/29/2014 | Ian Hanchett

Posted on 12/31/2014 9:00:50 AM PST by Jan_Sobieski

Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) declared that Republican leaders in Congress “need to get on board” with defunding the president’s executive action on immigration on Monday’s “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel.

“Some of us wanted a contract that would include defunding the amnesty. I think that helped us win the majority in the Senate. Defund the amnesty, defund Obamacare as much as we can in next year’s legislation. And release the energy sector to provide more jobs. It’s ready. There’s ready to be an economic boom if we will stop the overregulation. Let states that have the power do the regulation. Those are things we ought to do immediately upon taking over as a new Congress. but we promised people not amnesty, but defunding the amnesty, and Republican leaders need to get on board” he said...

America is finished and will be a communists dictatorship within a few more years. There is not a chance of changing back and then to what? Our famous GOP’s idea of America. What is the difference? Most of us are really discussed.

I hate it when I want something so bad that I’ll sell out. It doesn’t happen often. But it did happen with Bush, McCain and Romney. It won’t happen again. Three strikes and I’m out.

Let's stop calling the whipped cur Republicans, "leaders." They are better described as "lickspittles" for the mainstream media. They fawn when the Media frightens them; just as the Media fawns over the pseudo-wisdom of the Academic Left.

He thinks it helped them win the senate

Well, what other issue was it that got them an historic senate turnover?

Could they be any more dense?

We know they pretend the voters are not out here while they are very busy working for the chamber of commerce but either the country is going to be completely gone or they are going to come back in great force once again next vote

And they will not accept nor vote for jeb.

One conservative candidate in the primary, people. It’s conservative v GOP v dem

There certainly ARE three parties

Get a clue

I know the GOP-e are hard at work trying to destroy the conservative base and eliminate the influence of conservative Senators and Congressman. They have to know that if they lose the base however, they most likely lose the 2016 Presidential race. As in 2012, many conservatives set out the election rather than vote for GOP-e Mitt Romney. The result was that Obama won a second term. I’ve read many times that had the conservative base turned out in greater numbers, like we often do, Obama would have lost the election. If true, and the GOP-e are fully aware of this, what could possibly be their motivation for attempting to excise us from another Presidential race while routing out conservative Congressmen and Senators at the same time? Our country is at the brink.

Perfectly normal reaction for anyone who's just had an 11-inch Bowie knife sunk 10" into his back.

"They ain't working for us. They work for 'K' Street" does sound very DimRat to say.

Happens to be true, though, so rock on. They're shooting at us, remember, not vice versa.

Except that the Occupy people are still basically Communist b*stards trying to cut our throats, yeah.

Remember, it ain't what they say or do, it's what their program is, that counts.

What could be their motivation?

Why are you ascribing them the motivation of wanting to win the presidency?

Or any majority?

They don’t want the senate

They want to use their positions in order to do the bidding of the chamber of commerce

They do not want the majority and have to explain why they’re letting in a the illegals

They don’t want the presidency. Bush did but he had his own deal going on and it was not conservative

These guys, they beat every conservative in the 2012 race and then handed Obama the final in the last 2 debates

They’ll do it again

We think they want the presidency Now who’s the stupid party?

“I also hate big biz —this is so weird. That sounds like a lefty or something.”

Actually that’s the southern agrarian/ agrarian conservative view.

There’s a crowd that would have you believe that big business is on the side of conservatives but that’s rarely been the case.

Large corporations go along to get along and often are the first institutions to embrace whatever social agenda progressives trot down the road.

The GOP-e is part of this and that’s why you don’t see them reversing any progressive legislation. Dubya had a Republican Congress and what can you remember that bunch doing? Dubya spent his time trying to force through amnesty for illegals.

Don't worry, you're not going nuts. The essential difference is that you mean it when you say something, and they just agitate for effect. They're still F***ing Communists and scum.

Where's Sarah? Come on, Sarah!

“Why the hell are you so in bed with Obama? Do you care to tell us exactly what he has on you or do we need to hire private investigators to do a little digging?”

I hear Boehner hates Louie Gohmert worse than any other member of Congress which would make him the perfect one to ask that question, in a Texas drawl of course.

“The GOPe has decided right leaning, conservative American’s are of no use to them any longer...they are trying to purge us out of the party and replace with illegals.”

In California they are more than halfway there. All you need to do is examine the clown that the GOPe nominated for Governor, Neel Kashkari.

Kashkari endorsed gay marriage, amnesty for illegals and abortion. He says that he voted for Obama. But the GOPe loves him, partly because he’s a Hindu Indian and therefore a certified minority.

At the same time the GOPe mouthpieces were warning that if tea party favorite Tim Donnelly won the nomination he would inflict national damage on the Republican Party.

Freaky how the interests of the Tea Party and OWS have come into such close alignment on this, eh?

Not really — the TEA Party is about reducing onerous taxation and, because taxation has become so intertwined with the bureaucratic arm, the reduction/elimination of bureaucracies. These bureaucracies are often very corrupt, having little to do with their stated mission (the FDA for example, erects barriers to real medical advances and does little to ensure the safety of the consumer) and often use that power to enact (a) regulations [often for the purpose of generating revenue via 'fines], or (b)licensing schemes [a license acts as a bar to entry into a field; this is often pushed by "big business" entrenched in the field].

The Occupy Wall Street, on the other hand were concerned about corruption and power-wielding in big corporations.

Both segments are fundamentally right: the government is corrupt and sells its power, the big businesses are corrupt and buy that power [often in the form of laws or regulations] in order to accomplish their tasks. — Both government and "big business" need to be cut down to size and forced to respect the law.

It's why I think it's stupid to just dismiss out-of-hand people from the other side (democrats, liberals, etc), as we could easily show how the big businesses corruption and the government corruption go hand-in-hand; their concerns in this area of power/corruption come from a sense of wanting justice, just like the TEA Party — it would be better to find common [good] ground to stand on than to further divide ourselves [the citizens].
