Senate Republicans will have to work hard to retain their recently won majority as they face a tough 2016 electoral map.
They have 24 seats up compared to Democrats' 10, including seven in states resident Obama carried twice. Democrats won't have any red-state senators facing reelection and could be buoyed by a favorable presidential-year electorate.

Anybody heard any more about MooseChelle pulling a Hillary and running for senate in the year her husband’s POTUS term finishes up?
She’d be a lock in California if Boxer decides to retire.
Illinois is probably a sure win also and would take out a Republican.
I will be happy to work hard to replace Bennett here in Colorado. We kicked Udall out, now we need to kick Bennett out.
I think Mark Kirk is gone if the Combine can find a strong candidate to run against him.
Harry Reid looks weak in Red Nevada but I wouldn’t count him out.
In Purple Colorado, the GOP could take over Bennet’s seat if it can find the right candidate.
Sarah Palin runs against Murcowski.. Lisa is toast..
Sarah needs to run in ‘16 - FOR SENATE.
Kirk is a Combiner. He’s precisely where they want him to be.
Alaska or Arizona?
Either.
Not a name there that bothers me if they lose
Yep - that would be a good spot for her talents
Add in The GA senator Johnny Isackson (sic)
What republican would she eliminate?
Bird feed.
Woman looks like a bird.
In Arizona, against McLame!
What’s a Combiner?
Anybody heard any more about MooseChelle pulling a Hillary and running for senate in the year her husbands POTUS term finishes up?
She’s too lazy.
*************
If she should run I hope she wins. But I just don't see Palin as a Senator.
I just don't see her tied to a Senate seat in D.C. She just doesn't appear
to me to be someone that wants to be tied down to a daily routine in D.C. I
think she would be happier and more effective doing what she does now. Moving
from group to group, encouraging legislation/candidates, etc. rather than doing
committee meetings, lobbying, etc. JMO. Whichever she chooses she would be a
force to be heard from.
So a Senate seat flips to Demo and she could prevent it, and you don’t care? She is a lock and if she has higher aspirations she can launch them from there. She is all talk talk talk. Like Limbaugh....
