I think that’s a good thing. These anarchists represent everything the typical big city voter stands for, particularly in New York. These are their peeps, and they’re welcome to them.

The world is a much better place without the Michael Brown’s and Trayvon Martin’s in it. I won’t ever cease saying this because it is the truth.

I think we’re living in a scary time. The Left is rioting against cops. The end result of this is to bring about the very conflict that they’re protesting. The Right is concerned about the police state where cops and soldiers are indistinguishable. (A friend sent me roughly 12 pictures of cops and military with their weapons. I could not tell which were what.)

There are several worrying trends. One is civil asset forfeiture by police who have turned it into part of their “business” model. Another is the increase in funding through code enforcement. My counties’ budget lists $500k dollars from code enforcement. What happens if nobody violates the code? They can’t keep their employees without these violations. The answer is, there are so many codes that virtually everybody is in violation of something they can be fined for at some point in their day.

Rather to correct you, this too will PASS.

Here is the reason why.

Liberalism is on the ropes. Conservatism is resurging. The folks who want NOTHING to do with the trouble making are going to, mark my words, express in the coming year, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, and while there are a few bad cops that MUST be WEEDED OUT, most cops are good folks that is doing the job that is important to keep law and order.

Look for these protests to end in 2015 with those Americans who bought in large numbers guns and ammo stepping up to the plate.

A Brandeis Student Refuses to Show Sympathy for Assassinated Policemen — and Her Critic Is Attacked

by Alan M. Dershowitz
December 28, 2014 at 1:30 am

As I watched, with tears in my eyes, the funeral of police officer Rafael Ramos who was ambushed along with fellow officer, Wenjian Liu, in revenge for the deaths of two black young men who were killed by policemen, I could not help thinking of the following horrible words tweeted by a bigoted young woman named Khadijah Lynch, on the day the police officers were murdered in cold blood, and the day after:

“i have no sympathy for the nypd officers who were murdered today.” (December 20, 2014)

“lmao, all i just really dont have sympathy for the cops who were shot. i hate this racist f...ing country.”(December 21, 2014)

Khadijah Lynch is a Brandeis University junior who at the time she wrote the tweet was the undergraduate representative in the Brandeis African and Afro-American studies department.

Nor was this her first bigoted tweet. She has apparently described her college as “a social themed institution grounded in Zionism. Word. That a f…ing fanny dooly.” And she cannot understand why “black people have not burned this country down….” She describes herself as “in riot mode. F… this f…ing country.” She has apparently said that she would like to get a gun and has called for an intifada: “Amerikkka needs an intifada. Enough is enough. “ “What the f… even IS ‘non-violence’. “

I can see a solidifying of opinion. Folks want so very bad to see cops crack skulls. When it comes, there will be no sympathy.

So, we’re looking at this for Times Square on New Years Eve: a few hundred to a couple thousand angy and violence prone protesters, a few thousand ticked off NYPD cops and about a million drunk partiers.

With that sort of mix, what could possibly go wrong?

Here in Maine, civil asset forfeiture is rarely used....there are many hoops for the powers-to-be to jump through, but when it is used, the assets go to Maine’s General Fund. Police departments and sheriff’s departments do not benefit directly like they do in other states.

Maine has either an “A” or an “A-” rating in regards to asset forfeitures. Somewhere I read that Florida has a “D” rating.

These civil asset forfeitures need to be severely reined in on a nationwide basis.

So, let me get this straight. These imbeciles want to disrupt a very large and drunken celebration by busting up the party? Oh yeah, that will work.

“What happens if nobody violates the code? They can’t keep their employees without these violations.”

When things went South here in Summit Co., Ohio, They lowered the value of my house by $1,500. But they raised the value of my lot by $10,000. Did it everywhere. They kept their employees!

Some wit could pass out hemp ropes with nooses on the end to wave in front of the protestors.

“But they raised the value of my lot by $10,000. Did it everywhere.”

The extra lot next to my house is mine. Only the front 100 feet or so is buildable as the rest is a deep ravine dropping 50 feet. (Deed restrictions state the house must be out of the view of the street, so the lots are narrow and very deep. Building within the first 100 feet would be a violation.) The county evaluated the lot at $28,000. The comps for houses (no lots left) in my neighborhood said it should be less than half that. My realtor told me it was unsalable at any more than about $8,000. When I had the county tax people visit they showed comps for a much pricier neighborhood only half as far from town, fully developed with paved roads, electric and water. I pointed out the differences. Not their problem as they treat all lots the same way.

I claimed poor mouth, out of work, etc. I made the girl blush. She told me to use this tax trick and combine this lot with my lot as one piece. I did and it cut the taxes by 1/3 for that lot over what they were as I have homestead exemption.

Incidentally, I vote against all tax exemptions. If the taxes are burdensome for some special group, the elderly, the military, then they are burdensome for all. I have passed up on property that is excessively taxed. Everybody should.
