In an interview with The Hill Illinois Republican Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL) said that possible presidential runs by Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY)93% and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) would hurt the Illinois Republican Party.
We definitely have our isolationist wing, which I completely disagree with, he said, pointing to Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), before promising to back a GOP candidate in the presidential primary that he thought would do well in Illinois. He criticized Sen. Ted Cruzs (R-Texas) bombastic style as well.

Good.
The GOP helped destroy America,
as it first destroyed marriage and medical care.
The GOP has enabled crime, waste, slavery and fraud.
... and then backstabbed their voters THIS MONTH.

Coming from Mark Kirk, I’ll consider that an endorsement for Cruz.

Kirk is a joke. He is just a shade to the right of Dickbrain Durbin. He is more liberal than at least a quarter of the Senate Dims.

Ted Cruz will be alienating Nut Jobs.

Well, yeh, you have to toe the party line. Can’t go thinking and speaking for yourself or you’ll disrupt the establishment! You don’t want to do that, do you?

Where is it?

Kirk sounds like one of these democrats like Bloomberg who run as a republican because they can’t otherwise get the democrat nomination. In other words there are no real republican candidates in that state.

While I certainly respect his right to comment on the race regarding Illinois - the BOTTOM LINE is that the 2016 presidential race simply will not be decided in Illinois.
So please forgive us if we don’t care what you have to say.
