Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) took to Twitter on Tuesday to criticize the FDA’s proposed new policy on blood donations from gay men, saying that while the recommendation is a “step forward” it is still “discriminatory.”
The liberal legislator and potential 2016 presidential candidate tweeted that the FDA must “have courage to set policies based on science” in order to “commit to building a bigger, safer blood supply through risk-based screenings.”
The policy, introduced Tuesday by FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg, would replace a 30-year-old ban on blood donations from gay and bisexual men with a new rule permitting donations from men who haven’t had sex with another man for at least a year.

The science is this, gay men have shorter lifespans, higher rates of drug abuse, and have greater/rising numbers of STDs (including AIDS). A significant portion of their "community" still engages in random sexual hookups with total strangers (in public washrooms, nightclubs, and now with grindr via cellphone app introductions).
I will go along with warren on this if she signs a document that when and if her children and grandchildren ever need a blood transfusion in thier life time they will use a gay mans donated blood only! Have we not had enough of these arrogant man beast biotches
Well, if blood banks, hospitals, and any place draws one gay mans blood knowingly. Carelessly disregarding all knowledge of how STDS that specifically target 80% homosexual men in our country, and the rest IV drug users. Then I guess if I need a transfusion or die, I die.

Science isn't a consideration when policies apply to liberal totems like man-made global warming, or racial preferences, so why start this now?

Supply and demand rule capitalism, and not one person in their right mind (even a liberal democrat) will accept a blood transfusion not knowing if it came from a high risk gay man, or a normal human being that do not engage in highly risky sexual acts, and IV drug use.
Soon when people start dying due to a shortage of blood and unwillingness to accept transfusions, gay men will not be allowed to donate blood, and all blood stock will be destroyed.
Waste of time, waste of money, waste of thought, and waste of my energy to even consider. Because I already know what the outcome will be.

The only way we check is through a questionnaire. If they say they aren’t gay we believe them, so you can bet some blood is tainted. And some is intentional.
The couple of major operations I’ve had over the past 10-15 yrs the doctors were very reluctant to transfuse .
Doctors told me I did not require a transfusion.
Why are gays so eager to give blood, they must rupture hemorrhoids all the time.
Maybe Granny Squaw get to receive some AIDs nainted queer blood.
And the ruling elite will have its own supply of untainted blood. This shows their contempt for normal people.

It seems to me that homosexuals are already giving blood. They just lie on the questionnaire when filling the form. Do hospitals analyze all blood that is donated? It’s hard to stop queers from donating if they don’t disclose their sexual peccadilloes.
