I agree with you. Yet, there are so-called “patriots” who advocate surrendering their guns in order to “buy time” for a more “vigorous” response sometime in the future. They counsel retreat, and retreat some more, in the hope that eventually enough victims will have enough left-over spunk to fight back. They are delusional. Fight back before the threat shows up on your doorstep, and your family in cringing in fear in the corner.
