Normalized relations with the rest of the world doesn’t seem to have had any transforming value in Cuba, so it will be interesting to see what happens when the great and powerful Oz to the North lets Cuba back onto the playground. In the practical world, normalization may be so insignificant it may be indistinguishable from times before normalization, except for the cigar industry.
