United Nations peacekeepers on Friday fired at a crowd of protesters who were demanding new leadership just days after a government-appointed commission recommended that the country's prime minister resign.
Thousands of protesters marched through the capital, Port-au-Prince, as they burned tires and clashed with U.N. troops and police, who also fired tear gas.

Try that here and there won’t be enough body bags to cart out the UN troopers.
Racists!
I so agree. They’d be more like “collectable items” rather than troops.
UN failure marks their presence. A force of French Foreign Legion should be their —France needs to step in clean this pest hole—it could be beautiful again once some order was established. My recomendations are as stands.
1. Make gambling legal—open casinos for tourists.
2. Make prostition legal and build beautiful Brothels.
3. Build some factories to make cheap clothing and baseballs, shoes, and stuff.
4. Build some resorts here.
5. Build a Naval base for the USA
6. encourage business and limit corruption.

Rwanda, OTOH, don’t shoot at all while watching true genocide before their eyes.
As I say when they collect for UNICEF — “If it starts with UN, it is corrupt.”
So when will Sharpton, Jackson, et al protest that?
A contradiction in terms.
They come Here and you’d have a hard time finding good blue helmets without nasty holes in ‘em.

Well now, with Haiti all fixed the Clinton Foundation can move on to some other cause and suck millions out of it.
I thought Clinton fixed Haiti.
My recommendations ...
Respectfully, as much as I’d like to agree with you, the main problem is that the Haitians aren’t invested, mentally, in their own advancement. You can’t force prosperity on folks who won’t invest their own effort in the program.
Our own “War on Poverty” is a classic example.
Thank you.

Methinks there’s a rather obvious flay in your cunning plan.
And a flaw in that flay.
Why would you open brothels in a place featuring the highest per capita incidence of HIV in the western hemisphere?
Just read this for the 5th or 6th time the other day as I prepared to email a link for it to my son. He was complaining that his dopey college professor told the class that the second amendment wouldn’t work any more because the military was far superior to any arms that civilians could muster. My son knew about the liberator pistol and how one guy with one, could parlay it into all kinds of ordinance, but I figured the link might give a more cogent explanation.
Either way I’m sure the liberal prof wouldn’t believe the truth if you hit him over the head with it.
Read/heard somewhere that obola is planning on bringing another 350,000 to Florida....
Yep, and the the GOP can kiss Florida goodbye for good.
