New government guidance has LGBT rights advocates "thrilled"
In one short paragraph of a 34-page memo released on Dec. 1, the Department of Education articulated a clear stance on gender identity, saying transgender students in public schools should be enrolled in single-sex classes that align with how they live their lives day-to-day.
“We’re thrilled,” says Shannon Minter, the legal director for the National Center for Lesbian Rights. “It’s so critical to the health and well-being of those students, and it’s going to be so helpful to have that guidance in writing so that schools understand what their obligations are.”
The memo is explicit that federal law protects students’ decisions made in accordance with their gender identity. “Under Title IX,” it reads, a school “must treat transgender students consistent with their gender identity in all aspects of the planning, implementation, enrollment, operation, and evaluation of single-sex classes.”

I wouldn’t be too sure about that. People can be convinced to do just about anything, especially if they perceive it as being cool and rebellious.

You are right and they will eventually very boldly push programs to keep kids confused and then when your son or daughter out of ignorance comes home and says that they want to marry a member of the same sex or they don’t want to be their born gender and you oppose it then they will make sure you get labeled an abuser and then will take your children away and or put you in a place to re-educate you. That is the reality of where this crap is headed. I’ve never hated lgbt and I think most of them are simply lost and have fallen into an trap. That said I do very much hate what their lgbt activists are pushing and there is a great evil behind it that threatens the very foundations of family, decency, and liberty.

I had a friend who served during the Vietnam era and he told me a story about how he walked in on an officer abusing a private. My wife’s step father when he was in the Navy had someone try to rape him. He turned a high pressure water hose on them. Some people are just naïve. They have bought into the harmless poor victimized LGBT propaganda and are totally ignoring the fact that their is a very predatory element. I don’t believe its an accident that homosexuals report a much higher rate of having been abused as children and it produces a vicious cycle.
It’s not just happening with the Govt and schools. I work for a large company and they’re trying to force this upon employees also.
I had to comply with taking a mandatory “Diversity Training workshop” last week and was the only person who objected to allowing men into the women’s restrooms because they FEEL they are women. (This is called intimidation, as others quietly came to me later and thanked me for speaking out.)
I explained the 1st Amendment protects religious beliefs and trumps someone’s feelings, that God created us male and female, and if someone needs help figuring it out, there is a simple DNA test to determine one’s gender.
Their answer? I was told they have HR & counselors available FOR ME if I have a problem.
If and when this occurs in my workplace, I’ll be going to a counselor at law.
I know and that is largely a result of how corporations are increasingly simply an extension of government plus the LGBT bullies are very effective at pushing their agenda in the corporate world which is why they get so upset when a big corporation like Chik fil Target or Best Buy steps out of line. What needs to happen is someone needs to target and expose the HRC which is filled to the gills with pedophiles and is the center driver of these efforts.
The way I read it was that lesbians who identify as boys, would be put in a gym (or other) class with ALL boys.
