Since 2008, the Democratic Party has increasingly become the home of minorities, while the Republican Party draws its support from whites.
One of my fondest memories was spending four days in February 1977 as a staffer sitting on the Senate floor, mostly wedged between Gaylord Nelson and Russell Long as the Senate debated a resolution to reform its committee system. They were good friends, lovely people, and great storytellers, and I mostly sat there taking their conversation in, occasionally earning my pay by letting them know what a particular provision of the resolution did or what an amendment would do.
At my request, Long opened up his Senate desk so I could see the signatures of all the senators who had used the same desk over many previous decades. The signature of Theodore Bilbo just jumped out at me. Bilbo was a legend—and not in a good way. In his two Senate terms representing Mississippi, from 1935 to 1947, he stood out as a mean and vicious racist, not shy about spouting ugly bile on the floor or elsewhere.
He wanted pure segregation and ultimately to send black Americans to Africa. He said, "The experiences and history of thousands of years prove that whenever and wherever the white and black man have tried to live side by side, the result has been mongrelization, which has destroyed both races and left a brown mongrel people." When he filibustered an antilynching bill in 1938, he called its supporters "mulattoes, octoroons, and quadroons." He use the "N" word incessantly, in and out of the Senate. Among a large collection of segregationists, he stood out for his ugly rhetoric and incitement of white Southerners to violence....

Democrats exploited race on behalf of white racists and today they exploit race on behalf of black racists.
Bilbo was the epitome of the Democrat Party. A vile racist, a crook, and a big believer in leftist big government (a New Dealer fanatic). His successors have different-colored faces, but they’re just as corrupt, just as racist, and just as obsessed with expanding the size of the federal government.
Today’s Democratic vile racists hate whites. They’re the mirror image of Theodore Bilbo.

Democrats such as this one want all those who were intelligent enough to recognize the community organizer for the fraud that he obviously always was, to be quiet about it. Sorry.
It’s time we point out the gullible, stupid Democrat voters referenced by Herr Gruber and publicly ridicule them at every opportunity. They give no quarter, as in their treatment of Pres. Bush and VP Cheney, and they should expect none now. As the failures of this pathetic president pile up in his last two years, let us serve up a steady diet of schadenfreude to help us pass the time.

When you get right down to it, they still hate Blacks. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t continue to champion destructive policies that perpetually harm them and make common cause with and herald the very lowest common denominators in the thug underclass. They’re always experts at inciting the rabble.

Not to quibble, but radical Democrats hooked in minorities long before 2008. That shift began in the 60s with the Great Society and public housing. Blacks bought into the leftist plantation scheme, and Hispanics followed.
Before 2008 Republicans still gave lip service to their conservative base, which has nothing to do with race. ...Since before 2008, the Republican left has gradually abandoned conservatives in favor of picking up scraps of Democratic Party demographics that fall from the plantation table, amounting to about 10 percent of blacks, and 30 percent of Hispanics. At present, the Republican left is more interested in picking up a fraction of the 2 percent of sexual perverts than keeping white conservatives.
Conservatives seem to be attracting freed people from all walks of life, as the left continues to lose touch with reality.
The Democrat DO want to hamstring black people (to keep them dependent, grateful, and voting Democrat).
Recall that President Clinton wanted to secure “ebonics” as a recognized dialect (unprofessional as such communication is). Think of the set asides in employment and the limitations in advancement (career/life) for people with such grammar issues.
Bilbo was not strictly correct. About half the black population can make it...the other half, The Black Underclass can’t. The TBU cannot be educated or civilized. What to do with TBU is the big question.
