Boston was made up of IT guys who lived in Waltham MA (The town that bordered the “Technology Highway” Route 128). These guys experimented for YEARS to get exactly the right sound, and it shows.

There was so much “chicken rock”, the professional radio term for “soft rock”, that it was good to hear somebody still rocking out there.

I hear ya.

I still am not fond of soft rock, even as I get on in years.

Either ROCK, or don’t.

Chilly as I recall, but in those days there was no unit prohibition on liquid libations for antifreeze purposes. We also had portable heat blowers on the float.
