While on ESPN radio with Colin Cowherd, President Obama admitted that he gets a little overwhelmed by politics in the morning and looks to a different kind of news channel.
Listen, I spend most of my time watching ESPN in the morning, Obama said. I get so much politics I dont, you know, want to be inundated with a bunch of chatter about politics during the day.

Maybe the CIA chief could trick Obama into coming in for the morning intel briefing by playing the Sports Center theme.

I wonder what Michelle does — looks in the mirror a lot, tries on clothes, writes lunch menus for public school kids.

Looks like he just let the cat out of the bag that he really is just not into his job - most of us here though already knew that.

I assume most of us realized ValJ does the heavy lifting.
And God only knows who she rings up for the tough decisions...

This does not surprize me. There were reports of him watching ESPN by the hour (watch him make team picks for women's basketball--he is familiar with those teams as well!) years ago.
What does shock me is that he admits it. It is hard to know whether this is because he thinks it is a proper use of his time, or yet another way of laughing at the country.

Although Reagan was an awesome executive.
He put good people in jobs and let them work.
He was not a 24/7/365 micromanager.
The MSM taunted him for that.
The MSM celebrates Baraq for screwing off and playing golf.

And he doesn't want to be inundated with security briefings or other important business. Someone once said that he begins his typical day after 10:00 am. At least the Bushes and Reagan, among others, showed up for work. Obama should be docked for the time he spends not attending to the business of the people.
