About a year out of the 2016 Iowa caucuses, Governor Palins taking part in the Iowa Freedom Summit hosted by Congressman Steve King and Citizens United.
The event was announced a few weeks back and reported by Politico:
Iowa Rep. Steve King, the GOP lawmaker well-known for his deeply conservative position on immigration, is hosting a January summit for possible 2016 hopefuls, according to a new report from the Des Moines Register.
The event, dubbed the Iowa Freedom Summit, is slated for Jan. 24 in Des Moines, and three likely Republican presidential hopefuls Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee are confirmed as attending, the report said.
The news of Governor Palins participation is being reported by Drudge this morning via theDes Moines Register:
Former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin will take part in the Iowa Freedom Summit in Des Moines on Jan. 24.
The inaugural event is being held by Citizens United and Congressman Steve King. The summit will serve as a place to discuss conservative ideas, as people get ready for the upcoming Iowa Caucuses next year.
Same here. No way I was going to vote for McStain nor milt. But when Sarah joined his ticket she was such a breath of fresh air that I was able to put aside my disdain for señor Juan and vote the GOP ticket. Paul Ryan, on the other hand, while acceptable to me, is no Sarah Palin, and so could not overcome my disdain for milt. And so, for the first time in my life I did not vote GOP.
Lumper...you are perfectly named.
I like that woman.......
Suh-WEET! I’ve not see that one. Sarah rocks my little world. She’s who I want to be when I grow up. :)
“I voted (R) that year ONLY with the idea that McCain was too old to last through his first term.”
Yep. Don’t blame me - I voted for Sarah! :)
Sarah Palin BUMP! :)
I thought we were against Carly Fiorina? She ruined a Fortune 500 company or something? Or am I mixing her up with someone else?
Just asking...not lookin’ for a fight, LOL!
Well it would certainly be ironic to see the THIRD Clinton plurality win for POTUS.
‘We’ Conservative women are so D@MN good lookin’!
Why is that?
Oh, I remember: We Have The Strength of Ten Because Our Hearts Are Pure. And we’re almost always Proverbs 31 Women, too! :)
God Bless & Keep the Palins and the Nugents! We need them now more than ever!
The Internet is your oyster. All the answers you seek are out there.
And downright pleasurable to see the utter destruction of the party the betrayed, you...and me...and everyone on this forum except the paid operatives.
Why?
She’s older and has more executive experience.
Turn that around and you’ll have a more accurate ticket by age and experience.
And, I think it's pretty clear no matter where Cruz is that he's the smartest guy in the room.
Really don’t much about her and doubt she’ll be a major player. She was CEO with
Hewlett-Packard during the merger with Compaq making HP the largest computer mfgr..
Outstanding Sarah!!!
“Heck Lump, ya sound as goofy as the Beaver sometimes”..........
He hasn't responded to a single reply. I smell a...
That’s it. HP tanking. Well, they BLAMED it on her - whether it was her fault, I don’t know. ;)
