I think the bigger question is why are 4 cops trying to arrest a guy who sold one single solitary cigarette in the first place? Oh that’s right, because New York city which is run 100% by DEMOCRATS care about nothing else but getting their damn tax money.

To the democrats, not paying your taxes is a capital offense.

Unless of course, you're one of their top cronies like Warren Buffett.

He was a repeat offender, as in dozens of times.

The cigarette issue apparently involves taxes. New York has very heavy taxes on cigarettes, whereas states like North Carolina have much lower taxes. People import cigarettes from the South to states like NY. There have been ads by New York telling how mean and evil this is.

I am sure that the police were asked to crack down on this despicable selling of cigarettes which have not been fully taxed.

The cigarette runners sell unpackaged cigarettes, because it is hard to tell whether they have been taxed or not. Therefore, they made it illegal to sell single cigarettes.

...

Garner had the right to vote for people who make the law. He had the right to his day in court, but he didn’t have a right to resist arrest.

It all depends of the call from the business owner behind him on what they said was going down. Maybe the owner said it was a huge man. If the cops had a sumo wrestler then all they would have needed was one. Who in the hell knows.

Lets put this in perspective.

The poor broke street guy didn’t pay his cig tax...As several have insisted, he was guilty of multiple counts of cig tax evasion.

This cost the government dozens of dollars in tax revenue.

Meanwhile, Wall Street and fat corps routinely evade paying trillions in taxes...

The message is clear for sloppy slobs further down the food chain.

Pay up and obey the kings men.

I read that he was harassing people going into stores and trying to intimidate the store owners. A guy that big takes those actions to a scary level. There isn’t much room on those sidewalks.

30 previous arrests is a pretty good resume...

You can hear him tell the cops...go away...stop bothering me...almost...I dare you...
