If you watched the Five today you saw a typical left winger resort to the only thing they know how to do when someone doesn't agree with them or defeats them with logic in an argument. Beckel actually raised his hand as if to strike Kimberly Guilfoyle sitting next to him when she pointed out his faulty arguing points. You could see the anger flare up on his face and he actually just caught himself before swinging. Why Fox puts up with that I cannot imagine. He gets bleeped out regularily insults the women,calls them broads etc., calls the men jerks and the like and anyone off site he doesn't agree with, morons. I really thought that he was going to hit her today and so did she by her reaction.
I’m a little surprised at the reaction to my post here.
It is irrefutable that FreeRepublic posters were the first to uncover the hoax, while the 60 Minutes show was still in progress.
It is also obvious that Bluey got his information from blog postings here, Powerline, Little Green Footballs, etc., then posted his own blog the next day.
I was trying to show how these inside the Beltway types live in their own little world talking only to each other and promoting each other!s books and TV shows. Perino was in the Bush press office at the time and she and her boss Bartlett were clueless in how to handle the Rather story. They even let CBS reporter John Roberts leave the White House that morning thinking the story on the memos was true.
Perino was clueless then, but now she wants the world to believe it was her buddy Bluey who did all the discovery and broke the story.

Mandy Walker, ASC, ACS, recently checked in from the set of Truth, a feature film about Dan Rather’s abrupt departure from CBS News in 2005 in the wake of reports that raised questions about George W. Bush’s military service during the Vietnam War. Robert Redford portrays Rather, and Cate Blanchett plays CBS producer Mary Mapes, who was fired for her role in the incident. Directed by James Vanderbilt, the production is currently shooting in Australia, in part to allow Blanchett some time close to home.
Mandy says Truth is an elaborate story that’s heavy on dialogue; the story unfolds in offices, conference rooms, boardrooms and television studios. After shooting 16 features on film, she is going digital for Truth. She is using the Arri Alexa, which she has used before on commercials and TV projects. The anamorphic-lens set consists of Panavision G Series and E Series.
“I think shooting digitally was a good call in this case because there are many five-page dialogue scenes where the director wanted to be able to shoot multiple takes without cutting,” says Mandy. “It was interesting to work out a way of shooting a film in which there are a lot of talking heads. The combination of digital and anamorphic really enhances all the distinctive lens artifacts, like the way the focus drops off at the edges and the inherent bokeh.”

I was on her ping list for the live threads and miss them too. Once in a while if I see her mentioned in a post, I give her a ping. Maybe someday she’ll reply.
