They will start moving on to the next box. Mark my words.

Because some people were dumb enough to vote for liberal republicans doesn't mean that the voting box is out.

I believe in a rule of law, and that precludes armed takeovers when dumb, emotional people vote for liberal republicans.

Put up a conservative and I’ll vote for it (he/she/it). Namely the principle I hold most dear is that of the 10th amendment.

What defender of the Constitution did you vote for in 2012? I didn’t see one.

Masscare vs. Obamacare? One guy had ACTUALLY socialized the medical sector in his state. The other guy was hoping to. Was someone else running that was low on ad bucks?

There were more than 2 candidates (D&R) on my ballot in 2012. That varies by state.

You imply a false choice.

And 3rd party have won as many recent presidential elections as liberal republicans.

None.

The difference is that those that voted for Romney voted for a liberal.

In Washington State, there were 8 presidential candidates on the ballot. Obviously, some, like the Socialists, were not someone a conservative could vote for, there were more conservative candidates (that also lost, like Romney) that a conservative could vote for.

I wasn't unhappy before.

My goal is to politically destroy liberal republicans.

It's impossible to get rid of democrat liberals, but barely possible to make it a political kiss of death to run as a liberal republican.

We might as well be old rabbis exchanging scripture verses in the Warsaw Ghetto. Going extinct soon.

I fear you are right.

The Liberals have marched in triumph and nearly unopposed in the schools at all levels, the media, government, and culture for over 40 years. The younger generation mostly only knows what it sees now and that with which it has personal experience - and that is not a free, open, reasonably just, honorable society with liberty and personal freedom except that of the most libertine sort. Our entire nation has been dumbed down to the basest level.

It will take a great revival to turn it all around.

I'm absolutely familiar with that process. All bills for spending MUST originate in the House, which the Republicans control right now, not in January.

So Reid, in the Senate, needs the republican controlled House to pass funding.

Reid needs them, they have the upper hand.

Will they do anything with that?

I've learned not to expect the republicans to use the advantages that they have, they would rather say "wait until Tuesday".

Your liberal republicans at work again. And a good reason to vote conservative, and not Republican.

I had a feeling he and the Pubbies were using that strategy and in many ways I have to agree with it.

It’s like a tug of war and the Pubbies decide at election time to just let the rope go and let the Dems fall on their collective rear ends which has happened in 2010 as well as 2014.

Funding BILLS from the House have to be approved by the Senate, then go to the President for Approval.

Even the three types of Appropriations have to be approved by the President....so if you think the Democrat Senate is going to go along with the Republicans in the HOUSE, why don’t you look at the past four years of bills.

You are delusional if you think Reid is going to bring that to the Senate floor...sheesh.

It doesn't get funded if Reid doesn't bring it. Reid can't bring it unless it starts in the House.

The power to destroy is power. The current House can NOT fund the government. That is power.

You are delusional is you think that isn't power.

Reid doesn't have to pass anything to keep the government from being funded.

He does have to pass something to keep the government funded.

So... if the Republicans in the current House pass a bill that Reid doesn't like, and the president won't sign.... does the government get funded?

No.

Easy peasy.

Don't give them what they want. Don't fund the government.

All within the power of the CURRENT republican House of Representatives. No need to wait for the January rush for funding.

Please read the Constitution.

I doubt anyone in the world could make you happy about any decisions that could be made...I’ve never seen you make a positive comment on anything in Congress.

Your comments are delusional, because I am just giving you the power of the HOUSE as it applies to bills being passed...where you are going with this is all over the place.
