That's going to leave a mark!

I understand the strategy but it only works if you have the advantage, which apparently we don’t at the moment.

The Dems need the House to pass laws and funding, so yeah, the GOP has the advantage at the moment. They may not know it, or act like it, but they do.

Boehner is great with a joke or a tear, but deep down he's a GOPe "Vichy Republican" just looking for a sneaky way to back-stab the base and surrender to Team Obama.

not until January.
That’s the thing about the rage on this forum right now - it’s still December.

Sure - let him talk. Dont let him act. That's the key. It doesn't matter how unpopular Obama gets. He's in office until January of 2017, and he's not a candidate for another office.
What matters is preventing his doing further harm while in office.

I guess two sentences is all you can expect,
what with the hepatic encephalopathy and all.
(Have another drink and a smoke, John. It'll relax you.
There, there! Wipe those tears. Attaboy.)

I think that might work, but the PR would be problematic to say the least!

Hey, John. It isn't about his popularity. Even he doesn't give a sht about that. It's about the country, John. Do you get it?
