Charles Krauthammer said Wednesday on "Special Report with Bret Baier" that a grand jury's decision not to indict a New York City police officer in the death of Eric Garner, an unarmed black man who died in July after the officer placed him in a chokehold, is "totally incomprehensible."
"It looks like they at least might have indicted him on something like involuntary manslaughter at the very least," Krauthammer, a syndicated columnist and Fox News contributor, said. "The guy was unarmed, and the crime was petty as they come. He was selling loose cigarettes, which in and of itself is almost absurd that somebody has to die over that."

I don't think that's correct. I believe he was being arrested for soliciting. The unit that busted him was a quality of life unit. It's a unit that is usually dispatched to where there are a lot of annoying public solicitations. Some areas get overrun like that.
Do you remember in NYC when there were squeegee men harassing people in cars at traffic lights?
Are you a speech pathologist? An audiologist? A doctor with a specialty in the speech mechanism?
If not then I promise, my education in this area is more than adequate.
” Good thing Obamas fixed race relations, huh?”
Yeah boy!
Open season on honkies!
The evidence says otherwise.
Hands up don't shoot, man.
I believe the coroner said the hold did compress the arteries and did not compress the trachea.
I’m 160 lbs. I’ve never tried to take down a guy who weighs 350-400 lbs. I’m guessing it is not as easy at Charles Krauthammer thinks.
It sounds to me like the guy had a heart attack while being arrested. Maybe he shouldn’t have resisted the arrest.
I don’t defend every action by cops. But once a cop says, “You are under arrest”, you fight them IN COURT, not on the street.
Sorry, the black and liberal shill community reject your logic. This is not about the facts it is about exploiting the racist mindsets of blacks and the whine of liberal fools. Truth will not be tolerated or placed into the calculus.
Pretty much. Yep...
I never said he died of cardiac arrest.
I said I suspected that he died of his rib cage being constricted against the sidewalk by his own weight.
He also put himself in this position by resisting arrest.
I also pointed out that he had poor circulatory health.
Fact of the matter is the cop didn’t choke him to death, the cop wasn’t out looking for a black man to choke to death, the GJ didn’t indict him for any kind of responsibility in this man’s death.
Don’t like it, go riot, I don’t care.
I would agree with that.
I do not know for certain if he died of a heart attack, but certainly that is a possibility.
I do know for certain that he did not die from being choked to death by a policeman.
The fact we all know is that the ME called it a homicide. Since you disagree, it would be interesting know when you examined the body.
It’s quite clear from the pictures of the policeman and the choke hold that I posted that no choke hold was being applied.
Sorry, I know a good deal about martial arts and choke holds.
Apparently so did the GJ, so, there you go.
So what.
Your opinion on the matter is without consequence.
The psychology dept in the Medical school. He even said he didn’t want to become a physical doctor. What importance is that in this case? Does it teach him police procedures?
No, it was not.
The cop had no leverage to press either side of the neck to such an extent to cause the man to lose consciousness.
That type of choke puts you out in about 2 seconds flat.
So, if he was out, how was he saying that he can’t breathe?
Answer? He wasn’t out, because he wasn’t being choked.
It shocking how easily pushed people are.
Obama’s job in starting this crap is so easy.
What a bunch of fools in this country.
Fools.
The you must think the GJ are a bunch of morons too.
Sorry, you have no evidence to support your claim at all.
Your emotions aren’t particularly useful to actual reality.
No he did not, and you have zero proof of that accusation.
In order to exhale, one must first inhale.
DURRR HURRRRR.
No, the GJ didn’t indict, you lose.
There is nothing to even play.
So he was in fact able to breath.
Incidentally, compress does not mean cutoff.
