A New York City grand jury has declined to indict an NYPD officer in the chokehold case of Eric Garner, the unarmed man who died while being arrested on Staten Island earlier this year.

In opting not to indict, the panel determined there was not probable cause that a crime was committed by NYPD officer Daniel Pantaleo, who was seen on a widely watched amateur video showing him wrapping his arm around Garner's neck as Garner yelled, "I can't breathe!" during the summer altercation.

One way to die from a heart attack is called HYPOXIA.
The last words he said were that he could not breathe.

That’s the irony in ferguson the cop did everything his training said to do. Here a cop browk the law. Yet, somehow ferguson was a big deal and this wasn’t.

That is exactly my take on it.

I do not like the law that they were trying to enforce. Let’s at least agree on that. What I saw was four officers taking down a very large man. One officer slipped is right arm under the right arm pit of the big guy and then slid his left arm over the top of the left shoulder, that is NOT a choke hold.

This man was large enough that just lying on the ground would be difficult for him based on his medical conditions. Police officers do not know in advance of anyone’ medical conditions. My disagreement is that there was no intent to harm this man. I do not feel sorry for those who chose to break laws. If the law is bad or wrong get it changed. If youchose to break a law be prepared for any consequences.

Yawn. It’s a blatant choke hold. Pretty easy to see for those with clear vision and no bias. Nothing under any arm pit, quit lying.

The unions, gang in blue and fellow copsuckers feel no need for discipline here. Protecting the gang is paramount over flimsy standards.

If the asthmatic Fatso could TALK, he could BREATHE, and the cop wasn’t choking him hard ENOUGH. He probably died of cardiac arrest.

I hope their juvenile attitudes don’t get them in too much trouble when they become adults.

...outright LIES ...

That's why EVIDENCE is needed to effectively counter them.

What bothered me was that he was outnumbered and he appeared to be unaware somebody was about to tackle him from behind. Once he was on the ground and said multiple times that he couldn't breathe, they needed to think about calling EMS to the scene but they couldn't do that cuz essentially, he was ambushed and they didn't need to go to those lengths. Brown was a thug. Garner wasn't perfect but he was tackled from behind which was the start of his death. Grand Jury wrong on this one.

He was just standing there talking to the officer in front of him when he was tackled. The tackle came out of nowhere. That wasn't DUE PROCESS. It was judge and jury once again were the bad cops. There are good cops too.

Not true. He was just standing there telling the officer that he wasn’t going to be arrested for the 31st time. That IS different.

If the law is bad or wrong get it changed.

Begs the question: Out of the thousands of government laws and regulations on the books and thousands more being enacted a routine bases, are there any laws you think are bad or wrong?

If so, why did you not change them?

??

That’s what Al Sharpton said on the air today, oh, and he also claimed that grand juries don’t decide guilt or innocence.
