The folks at Foodstorage.com have put together some crucial data about how safe we all are in one big and wonderful infographic.
The first graphic below shows a map of the United States and the disasters most likely to hit certain parts of the country. Foodstorage.com also poured through the data to look at how each state is prepared for disaster. This is measured by each state's disaster budget per capita according to NEMAweb.org.
The results are very telling. Texas is in the worst shape, according to this data. They are ranked as the least safe and least prepared state. While Vermont is the most prepared. And Wyoming takes the award for safest state.

Garbage. Vermont is a socialist state (Bernie Sanders) with a state income tax, taking wealth away from producers. Texas has no state income tax. The leftist source that published this trash equates spending with preparedness. That’s utter nonsense.
The ratings are as meaningless as Commie Core Math.

If so, then why is ND ranked at a 10 and MN at only 2.7? We are taxed to the hilt in MN and I’m pretty sure ND has lower taxes.

The numbers are meaningless. The leftists behind just pulled them out of thin air. Their goal was to make Texas look bad. That’s how I know this was all nonsense.
Yup. Strange how only California is at risk for Tsunamis despite the fact that any coast can get them.
Apparently the same kind of tsunami that doesn’t affect any other coastlines.
Here in Michigan I’m not at risk for any flooding and blizzards are basic winter weather.
I like how Hawaii was totally left out of the tsunami risk, despite just being hit by one a few years ago.

All you need to know is that disaster preparation is *your* responsibility.
The state and federal governments cannot be relied on for anything.
Except maybe sending jack booted thugs around to confiscate your firearms, forceably evict you from your home and, in the event of a really big disaster, probably confiscate your emergency stores.
You won’t need then anyway after being dragged out of your former home and relocated (incarcerated) in a FEMA shelter.
This is claptrap. Texas is very well prepared.
For instance, after Ike, which was handled quite well, all of our water sources are required to have on site generators which will continue to pump water during emergences. This is a huge help in the case of a hurricane or other disaster.
Their data is faulty and their methods are faulty. Disregard it.
I’m unsure what language you speak, but poured is correct and it is commonly used in most areas of the US.
Blennos is right, Kirkwood - the correct usage is “pored” - concrete is poured, letters are pored over ... I mean no offense to you.
Texas is the worst. Spread the word. Don’t move here.
