The democrat machine is fine with queers destroying small businesses that don't kiss the feet of perverts but wants to market itself as looking out for the middle class? Good luck with that.
As for, "the little guy", to a democrat fascist, "the little guy" is a queer who works at an abortion clinic and can only afford the thousand dollar a plate fund raiser, not someone who works for a living at anything productive.
The problem is they abandoned the working class whites that used to vote for them.
They aren’t giving them a reason to vote for them. The war on coal, on lumber, on oil, on steel and so forth - has just hurt Democrats. They seem more interested in catering to radical environmentalists than American families.
They voted against the Keystone Pipeline project. Democrats have said to Americans jobs and the economy isn’t our top priority. Our top priority is global warming!
They still don’t get it.
“While the party’s positions on gay rights, minority voting access, women’s rights and immigration are not wrong...”
That’s the ticket. Run on those issues down south.
Much more tuned to their M.O.
Yup. The liberal wish list.
What’s the good news? They’re no longer pretending to be centrists.
Southern Democrats’ embrace of Hillary Clinton is laughable. She and her husband Bill couldn’t keep Arkansas from going Republican.
She won’t win south of the Mason-Dixie because she has none of Obama’s charisma and she comes across as a scold.
Doubling down on delusional. Go for it Dems, it’s worked so well thus far!
CC
The southern democrats aren’t going to attract any white supporters. Stick a fork in the Democrat party in the south. Might as well rename it the New Black Panther Party and get it over with.
Definition of insanity-Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result each time.
As Obama's long standing Science and Technology adviser John P. Holdren has crowed: it's about "de-developing" the United States. In a speech to graduate science students, he said that "America can't always expect to be number one." (Holdren and Ehrlich [Population Bomb and other writings] have been joined at the hip for 50 years.) Then toss in John Podesta (GREEN par excellence and Hillary devotee), recently brought in to "help" Obama's struggling agenda.
Oh, and factor in the empowered EPA dictating, non-stop, thousands of regulations to strangle everything that drives the economic engine of the nation - and it is impossible to believe that this would endear the Democratic Party to the union rank and file (even though Obama carved out some relief in job-killing Obamacare for them), or from any thinking, job-seeking person.
Now begins in earnest, the drumbeat in the MSM about the real national security threat being "climate change" and apparently the biggest threat to the nation are those "crazy climate skeptics" (or as they're also called "climate deniers" who must be silenced for the good of the world);that climate disruption is imminent and that the science is "settled."
ISIS?! Not to worry. It's the "extremist right-wing Tea Party activists'" homegrown rejection of the Left that needs to be monitored - that's where the danger lurks. That is what is being taught to students and reported by the state media.
More on the man who has been advising Obama since the start of his first term - John P. Holdren
Here in Georgia, Democrats thought they had a couple of real ringers - Nunn (who unceremoniously dumped her husband’s last name) and Carter (grandson of the second worst US President).
They COUNTED on those names conjuring up all the old white people predisposed to voting Democrat and getting them out in droves. Nunn even hugged Obama! Carter flashed his teeth. They counted on that good-ole black vote.
Demographics. Georgia has a 8.1% unemployment rate, a couple points higher even than the fake national average. That’s because 31.4% of its population is black (US Census 2013) where the national average is 13.2%.
When you have a government that encourages high entitlement rates (see southeast Georgia, eastern central Georgia and the Atlanta Fulton/DeKalb areas where SNAP is up to 40% in some areas) does nothing national to affect creation of real jobs; lies, cheats and steals money from hard working people; and then tries to tell you a petty dictator is your savior, why in the hell would you vote for them.
To me, this whole Nunn/Carter thing was like reconstruction after the Civil War......wholesale damage and destruction, no jobs, endangered entitlements, bad economy, and then you have the same people come back in who caused it all telling blacks to “do it again” - put them in office.
Nunn/Carter lost stunningly, IMO - no runoffs. They lost because their old white Democrat plantation owners are dead or dying, they lost because whites know better, they lost because blacks finally got tired of Obama and won’t stand up for him, and they lost because of their dead-and-embalmed ideology.
Yep, same old same old. Middle class, blah, blah, blah.
Government creates jobs, blah, blah, blah.
In the article they call them "legacy candidates" - that the Democratic Party believed (or it was all that they had) their connection to the past would bring out the necessary votes to push them to victory. Fail. Now the Left wants to try this "legacy" thing on the national stage with Hillary. They will close ranks and do everything and anything to get her elected.
David Horowitz (June 2000) wrote a great piece that still holds up today:
Understood....my contention is that ‘legacy’ group is essentially dead - literally.
Now I do realize that coordinated DNC activities (Ritual Voodoo, if you will) can resurrect some of these fine dead people and make them register and vote - even in alphabetical order, but that sort of activity grows harder to accomplish with a state government so controlled by Republicans now. :0)
“They are advocating a return to party roots by emphasizing education and public works spending, stronger voting rights laws, tighter bank regulation and labor-friendly policies such as a higher minimum wage.”
Don’t forget homo “rights,” embracing La Raza’s stance on the border and citizenship for anyone who wants it, and unrestricted and taxpayer-paid abortion on demand.
In other words... Foisting even more poisonous liberal policies onto a section of the country that clearly showed in November it rejects them.
Yeah, dems.. sounds like a plan. Go with it.
They're in a "Grubor Stupor."
The national news constantly insisted Nunn and Carter were neck and neck in their respective races. And a runoff was assured for Nunn.
An out of state friend asked me about it, and I told him it wasn’t even close. There would be lots of cheating in Atlanta (Nunn and her 50,000 fake new voters the judge threw out, etc.) but the state was overwhelmingly against anything that smelled of 0bama.
The news really tried to direct this election, glad the real voters ignored them.
<><> Their misspent lives as Democrats are going to change dramatically.
<><> Democrat losses stretch from the Carolinas westward to Texas
<><> As Landrieu's loss looms, Southern Democrats control not a single governorship, US senator or legislative chamber.
<><> Of the 140 Southern States election districts---110 went Republican.
<><> the GOP's majority in the House will be so big and solid NBC's Chuck Todd says Democrats can't recapture losses until 2022.

<><> When the next Senate convenes, 29 lock-stepping Democrats who voted for Obamacare will be gone.
Gotta love the fact that political correctness will not allow for an honest post-mortem showing why their defeat was so bad, namely, because it was a referendum on Obama and his failed policies. It cannot be spoken.
And thus it will be repeated.
Yeah sure. "Opportunity for everyone"----just as long as you're not one of those stupid mental defectives taking up space in Democrat Utopia.
