A student at Georgetown University wrote in an op-ed piece that he was 'Not at all' shocked that a recent mugging he suffered at gunpoint took place.
Senior Oliver Friedfeld said in his piece,'I Was Mugged, And I Understand Why,'that he questioned his own ability to criticize his attackers, citing his 'perch of privilege.'

Some people really do deserve the things that happen to them. And his perch has nada to do with it. The birdbrain on it does.
At one time this would be a very good satire piece....
Quite remarkable a $ 60,000 education can literally turn your brain to mush...
I wonder next time he is assaulted and laying in his own pool of blood dying will he be so inclined to watch his own death from the “ perch of Privilege “
...well I guess he is game for a re-mugging.
Here is a parrot on a Gruber.
From Campus Reform:
A Georgetown University (GU) student who says he was mugged at gunpoint says he can hardly blame his assailants....."
if pajama boy wants to walk around as a victim, more power too him, just don’t tell me I have to do the same. The sooner these idiots are put out of our misery, the better.
I can’t believe people actually believe the drivel coming out of this guy.
Oliver Friedfeld is a senior in the School of Foreign Service.
The Perils of Designer Tribalism "...........Whatever the current object of adulation the wisdom of the East, tribal Africa, Aboriginal Australia, pre-Columbian America the message is the same: the absolute superiority of Otherness. The Third Worldist looks to the orient, to the tribal, to the primitive not for what they really are but for their evocative distance from the reality of modern European society and values.
It is all part of what Bruckner calls the enchanting music of departure. Its siren call is seductive but also supremely mendacious. Indeed, the messy reality of the primitive worldits squalor and poverty, its penchant for cannibalism, slavery, gratuitous cruelty, and superstitionare carefully edited out of the picture. In their place we find a species of Rousseauvian sentimentality. Rousseau is the patron saint of Third Worldism. Ignoring the real human race entirely, Rousseau wrote in a passage Bruckner quotes from the Confessions, I imagined perfect beings, with heavenly virtue and beauty, so sure in their friendship, so tender and faithful, that I could never find anyone like them in the real world. The beings with whom Rousseau populated his fantasy life are exported to exotic lands by the Third Worldist. As Rousseau discovered, the unreality of the scenario, far from being an impediment to moral smugness, was an invaluable asset. Reality, after all, has a way of impinging upon fantasy, clipping its wings, limiting its exuberance. So much the worse, then, for reality. As Bruckner notes, in this romance adepts were not looking for a real world but the negation of their own. . . . An eternal vision is projected on these nations that has nothing to do with their real history.....................
Reminds me of an old joke:
Me: You oughta get that obnoxious growth cut off your a$$.
Gruber: It’s on my shoulder and it’s not a growth, it’s a parrot.
Me: I was talking to the parrot, you moron.
The author is a post turtle.

On second thoughts, I am not believing the events occurred as told by the acclimated Friedegg.
Had this guy crashed an X Wing on a jungle planet, I’m pretty sure Yoda would have accepted that the Empire won and just become a Sith Lord to finish the job..
Big mistake in my abbreviation of a long title:
He attends Georgetown University NOT GWU.
Sorry for any confusion. I’ve asked the “FR powers that be” to fix.
No biggie. One den of crazies or another.
Friedfeld? He needs to change his name to Friedbrain.
Indoctrination: Complete.
frankly i am tired of white guilt- it has been done and over done.
Lets move on to some other type of guilt
