Speaking at a press conference in St. Louis along with attorneys for Michael Browns family, Rev. Al Sharpton said the decision handed down by the grand jury not to indict officer Darren Wilson proves that the federal government should have handled the case from day one.
Three days after Michael Brown Jr. was killed, we had a major rally in this very church, Sharpton began his remarks. We said that night, with his parents present, that we had little to no faith in the grand jury by the local district attorney. We said that night that we wanted the federal government to come in.
Last night, the appearance by the district attorney made it clear to everyone why we had little faith in a state prosecution.(continued)

Feds need to step in and throw your tax evasion ass in jail.
“...we had little to no faith in the grand jury by the local district attorney.”
When will they ever learn. They will believe this man and follow him to the ends of the Earth, only to find they are running in circles. Idiots, not one citizen questioned him.
I have to admit Sharpton has not lost any of his edge as he and other black leaders were able to convince the local citizens of Ferguson to allow outsiders to riot, loot, and burn down their city in protest.
In the aftermath, these idiots, the Missouri governor, and federal government officials are still confused and clueless as to whether true justice has been served by the Rape of Ferguson.
When this is over Sharpton will be gone and most of Ferguson too. Just don’t come to Texas. You won’t like our justice.
Great, we have a criminal telling us that we have to have the Feds step in where they are neither wanted nor needed.
Unless the Feds really want to find out what rioting is like they had better stay out of this. American citizens are just about over the line fed up with the Federal Government right now..........
Rev Al Gruber talking to the stupid.
Pray America is waking
no. the fed govt has already barged into Ferguson way, way too much (stirring up the racist hatred and violence we now see erupting)
and Sharpton should be put in prison for agitating riots across state lines, imho
Do I smell an Executive Order coming?
This went way too long..in tx, he’d been hung by now
If ya ask me, I think the Federal Government has gone uncontrollably rogue!!!
And so have most of the Blue State Governments!!!
The federal government needs to step in and arrest Al’s lying, tax cheating a$$.
Sharpton doesnt understand the law.
****
$harpton, ObaMao, and all the progressives of various races don’ need no steenkin’ laws. This is the new America, my comrade.
Sharpie has a habit of “stepping in” it.
Hey Snitch Sharptoon, STFU raciss.
“we have an excellent justice system that has served us well since the beginning of this nation. Dont let anyone tell you otherwise.”
Today one of my far left colleagues was complaining about the outcome of the grand jury decision and quoting some progressive blog as to why there was much evidence the officer deliberately attacked Michael Brown.
I couldn’t let him continue to spout out his progressive talking points without a rebuttal. I responded to him by pointing out Attorney General Holder put boots on the ground (attorneys, investigators, and community organizers) within days of the shooting. Holder, the Missouri governor, the Missouri attorney general, and the DA are all from the same party (Democrat). All are also attorneys. Each of them has the power to remove the DA, including the DA who can have recuse himself from the case. Each of them also has the power to indict the officer or cause the officer to be indicted. This power exists whether or not a grand jury is convened. The power to indict the officer still exists no matter the ruling of the grand jury.
In addition, none of the political power brokers in a position to influence the grand jury or make a decision regarding the indictment is a Republican. Therefore, in this case it is not possible to blame racist Republicans for the outcome of the grand jury.
The fact these four Democrat politicians, have not moved forward with an indictment can only mean two things:
1) There is insufficient evidence to secure a unanimous vote of a jury for a conviction using “beyond a reasonable doubt” as the burden of proof.
2) There is sufficient evidence to convict and for some reason the Democrat party has determined not prosecuting the officer is to its political advantage.
Which explanation makes the most sense? My normally vocal colleague refused to respond to the question.
